> 3 dayGreat and inexpensive managed switch. Easy to setup for home use. Has gigabit speeds and stays cool and quiet.

> 3 dayAppears to be well made at an attractive price. The switch was plug and play and works as advertised. I have it connected directly with a CAT6 cable to my gigabit internet hub and have 6 devices plugged into it. The metal case and fanless design were big selling points for me.

> 3 dayThis thing died on me after three months. Its not a very expensive switch, sure, but I expected more from a name thats been around a while like Netgear.

> 3 dayI recently bought both the GS305 and GS308 to up latency performance in my home network (half-duplex WiFi to full-duplex wired). Both work as expected and performance is better now.

> 3 dayMy house is wired with cat6 to each room, but was wired for telephone. I bought this switch to convert my home to hardwired Ethernet.

> 3 dayThe first one received all the ports died in a couple days even though the power was still on. I reset it several times but the porch never recovered. Amazon sent me a replacement. Im testing this out for a couple days. Will update my status for this product if it pans out.

> 3 dayWorks great, easy to use. Only complaint is that its listed as an 8 port router, but its really a 7 port (7 out, 1 in).
