> 3 dayJust basing this review on a days worth of use. Purchased this to replace a netgear 10 / 100 fast ethernet switch. It was still working fine, which is why I purchased another netgear switch, but the 10 / 100 version had slow transfer speeds on my local network. With the 10 / 100 version, I was transferring files at around 11mb’s on my local network. With the gigabyte ethernet switch, I’m up to around 110mb transfer speed which is a huge improvement. Wish I would have purchased this a lot sooner after experiencing these updated speeds. Anyway, it was a no brainer as far as installing it. Definitely plug and play and everything plugged into it worked immediately. If this new ethernet switch is as reliable as my old netgear 10 / 100 switch, I’ll be pretty happy.

Greater than one weekAs an unmanaged switch - what can I say? Just plug in your devices and it either works or not.

Greater than one weekHad another area in our office that needed more ethernet devices hooked up to our network. Bought this for the capacity as we got their 5 port model and were pretty happy with it. I have been using this for at least 6 months or more and it has not given us a single issue. It is also compact enough that we could zip tie it to another metal shift with the ports facing vertically.

> 3 dayFor a managed switch at this price point, I am very satisfied. The build quality is excellent, made out of metal, attractive looking, and the LEDs arent overly bright and loud. I have all my office hooked up to it with great results. 5/5

> 3 dayI have needed to add a switch for some time. The particular hub I utilize, has only 1 output; It’s been a pain. Not anymore! It’s safe to state: This review, has to be one of the easiest to write. I actually, thought it was like an old switch I had, back in the day, that labeled one input for your internet, then the rest were outputs; basically a relay, without power. This is powered and I reluctantly had to find another plug, but That’s where the disappointment stops.
