It is a cheap and effective way to either have more gigabit ports, or have a small private LAN setup.

Reliable. Works as expected. The only downside was the startup instructions, which insisted that you download their Insight app to manage their equipment. Why would you ask to download an app to manage equipment when it doesnt work on it? The answer is probably is it is a) easier than figuring out which equipment can use it, b) to improve download numbers or c) data miner. Id like to believe that is the first two, but this is 2020 so the last one would definitely be on point.

This is an excellent switch. My previous 5-port switch was full, and some ports didnt support devices I had tried using with it. With two different port groupings, this switch handled all of my requirements immediately upon plugging it in!
