Professional packaging. All parts included..even a three plug adapter. Very easy to install. Five stars - but hoping I never really find out how well it works if a washer hose starts to leak. Although its not cheap, I paid more quite a few years ago at Home Depot for s similar item that started leaking (couldnt fix it) after a couple of years.

Every time I did a load of laundry the alarm would sound off. I would have to turn my washer off and wait about an hour for it to be able to reset then I could do my laundry. This happened every time I started a new laundry load. Then finally after 2 months it wouldn’t even reset!! I had to remove the item and discard it. What a waste of $150 !!! Piece of garbage.

Ok, for $120 dollars you will lose customers if you don’t offer REAL customer service for existing customers. The unit is exactly 2 years old and the alarm won’t stop sounding even though there is no leak. After multiple times of resetting attempts (including disconnecting from power for 30secs+) and then waiting on hold, to be hard sold on the “new improved unit” without offering additional support or a discount is BAD customer service. In today’s market I have too many other choices but wanted to buy American made and ran into “American corporate greed.” You have lost a customer.

After two years, I discovered by accident that the ball valves would not close. This is a fatal defect. I traced the issue to two factors. 1) A spring is used to close the valve. Since the valve has been open for a long period, the spring is no longer strong enough to close the valve. 2) The controller does not exercise the value on a regular basis. Thus, the valve may end up stuck open or require a very large force to overcome resistance and close. I found a competitors product at the same price which does not have these issues. It is motor driven for both open and close. It has battery backup which solves the power failure situation without using a spring. It opens and closes the valve every 30 days. All really great ideas. Dont buy this valve. Get the one that really stops floods.

I just put these in and they are neat. The whole thing seems well made and works perfectly. Time will tell the overall value I suppose and I will update if something happens, but this is piece of mind for pretty cheap!

As an earlier review stated, the packaging and instructions are very clear. It was easy enough to install. The problem came after I plugged it in. The instructions explain how the Test, Vacation, and Reset buttons work. I pressed the Test button, got a single beep and all the lights went out. After that there was no more response. I tried unplugging it, waiting, and plugging it back in. No lights, no sound, nothing. A slight ozone smell from the controller, I assume some electrical component failed. While it wasnt hard to install, it was annoying to have to turn around and uninstall everything and box it up to send back. I would order a replacement, but if something could fail that easily Im hesitant to put faith in the device to product the home from flooding. I hope my experience was an isolated issue.

This came with easy to follow instructions and sinking it to my Wi-Fi and using the app was easy.

Installed this last weekend without any issues. Valves went on easily and ran the system through the test mode to make sure the valves opened and closed. Have not tested the sensor out, but all seems to be working. Even the alarm horn is loud and annoying as it should be.

Installation was a quick with an easy step by step procedure- Plenty of cables to place the devices where it is convenient for care and operation Peace of mind is Knowing that the water will be turned off if a leak is detected.

Installed easy, function tested well. App could not find or connect to system.
