I just put these in and they are neat. The whole thing seems well made and works perfectly. Time will tell the overall value I suppose and I will update if something happens, but this is piece of mind for pretty cheap!

Quality control issues! After installing only 3-4 months ago, the alarm goes off all the time when Im washing my clothes and there are no leaks...sensor and floor around it is bone dry. After multiple tries contacting the company I finally got through. The replacement worked for a few months then had the same issue again! Defective product and poor customer service. What a waste of $ and time. Dont buy this. There are alternatives on the market.

I spent a ton of time installing this only to find out I need a dedicated 2.4Ghz connection to get it to work. Every other device in my house automatically connects to the 2.4 radioband without an issue but this device won’t. This was according to the rep I talked to. My internet company and router can’t split the bands so I have to undo all my hard work and return it. Such a bummer.

This came with easy to follow instructions and sinking it to my Wi-Fi and using the app was easy.

To many false alarms, and after a year I can no longer reset to device.

Product works perfectly. It already saved us!! [someone] forgot to close the trap drain on the washer and ran a cycle… Water poured onto the floor, and this device shut off the water source immediately and alerted the household and me. It prevented damage to our ceiling, walls, and floor and saved us countless time and cost. I installed it in 15 minutes. Just follow the instructions carefully. I believe my device only works on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi…so it’s not working for you, check the installation instructions or contact the manufacturer to help you.

Best safeguard purchase I have ever made. I am a professional mechanical, instrumentation and electrical engineer and I have purchased and or installed many pieces of equipment during my tenure. The whole kit is very well thought out, from packaging, the installation instructions, wiring, controls and hardware - perfect. The kit was a pleasure to install. Our laundry room is on the main floor of our ranch style home with walkout and fully finished basement. A leaking seal or hose rupturing would cost thousands in repairs so this kit is worth every nickel. Now to be sure it worked - I took a thimble from our sewing kit - filled it with water and dumped it out by the sensor - valves went shut within seconds of the dump. This kit gives us peace of mind for any laundry issues, now I need to research to see if MyGuard® makes something similar for our automatic dishwasher. Note: I did not use the supplied drywall anchors - purchased a more substantial pair.

I had checked out different types and brands of laundry leak detecting shut-off valves, being that we live in a 5 unit condo, have a tight location with no access from either side, or the top of the full size stacked washer and dryer. If there was ever a problem there would be absolutely no way to get behind and shut the valves off. This was a reasonable price and being in the machining business, these valves work flawlessly in the tests I put them through before we had the washer installed. After mounting the valves, I unplugged the power and heard the solenoid valves shutting off.Perfect! Next I re plugged the power back in and heard the solenoid valves opening up again.Again Perfect! Lastly, I placed a damp facecloth over the leak detector that gets placed on the floor below the valves and hoses. Within 3 seconds the audible alarm went off and heard the valves closing. I am very pleased with this purchase and finally have some peace of mind that our condo and those below us are protected from a flood from the washer hookup.
