> 3 dayI bought this product and was iffy because of the automatic renewal. It won’t let you use the product without consenting to the annual renewal. So I told myself I will set up an alert to cancel it on the date of activation, which is nov 22 for me. Fast forward, they billed me on October 31 which is 3 weeks prior to activation date. I tried to cancel on October 31 through their website and it would not let me do it automatically. I had to talk to an associate yo do it. I would like this product more without the automatic renewal. So please Norton, remove this feature.

> 3 dayFirst, this was supposed to be a download, said upon purchase the key would be given. It was not. A box with the key was delivered the next day with PRIME. When I downloaded it, it came up as a trial, not the one-year subscription I paid for. It kept asking me to reset my email and password over and over. After a couple hours, I finally got logged in to find they had my address of 6 years ago and I could not change it. They also had my visa info of 6 years ago, no way to change it. Waited 2-1/2 hours to reach someone on a chat line who spent another hour and a half trying to change my address. Finally I got a supervisor who was able to set this up my taking access to my computer and answering questions I had. If you have nothing to do all day and like spending all day on what should be able to be downloaded correctly in a couple minutes, this is for you. However, Id describe it as a worst nightmare situation. Unfortunately I had downloaded what I thought was a one-yr subsription on a 2nd computer, which now I have to uninstall and reinstall what I hope will be the one-year plan.

> 3 daySeamless installation and always good value. Have been using Norton for more years than I can remember. Never been hit by a virus on multiple machines. Why switch to other products.

> 3 dayI’ve had Norton protection on my computer year after year. Several things annoy me about this software. Norton wants you to do automatic renewal ..give them your credit card ..that exposes my card when it’s not necessary. I can buy my Norton at a local store – have a product key.. but to load the software you MUST give them a credit card. Auto billing is convenient yes for them and maybe some, but what if Norton was hacked into? Also, scanning ..this feature seems to be tried to scary tactics ..to buy more protection. One day I’ll do a scan and it finds 100’s of issues ..next day none. I put up with these issues because I believe it’s the best protection out there.

> 3 dayUpdate: this was supposedly successfully canceled a month go.. yet I keep getting notices its still going through with a renewal order.. this better be happening. If I could give this any more negative feedback I would. Its been a real mess right from the start. im sorry. i purchased this product with amazon. a 1 yr subscription . that is trying to collect now after 6 months? for a whole next year starting now- nov 14th 2022.. which should not see until june 2023. not happy with norton, its done this before. totally messed up and slows everything done drastically. plus, for some reason, it went and deleted a whole bunch of files right first thing- definitely a piss- off on my bad side.. this needs canceled immediately. not going the full year if its charging me now.

> 3 dayI installed the software on three different operating systems with three different versions of Windows - Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10. For Windows 7, when the software download completed, it had trouble connecting to the Norton system. After clicking retry 3 or 4 times, it finally connected to the Norton website and completed the installation. The software can create a load on Windows 7, slowing down the system to a screeching halt. Even though the scan was cancelled, it seems to continue running in the background. The Windows 8 and 10 systems run better with the software. My one dislike is the fact that even though the Norton version I paid for through Amazon came with a key code, I was still required to enter my credit card information to proceed with the first download, allowing an automatic renewal of the software when it expires. I have enabled the option to shut off automatic renewal, as there is no indication of what the renewal price will be. I like the option to customize a daily scan time at 2am on one computer, and 3am on the other two computers. I hope this software is effective in blocking viruses and ransomware on my computers.
