> 3 dayThey dont tell you that you have to have a credit card on file and after you agree with the promise that your credit card info can be deleted later, amazingly enough not one customer service agent can tell you how, I figured it out myself. You might think why do I care? If a credit card is on file and youve already cancelled auto-renewal what are the odds that with that info youll get renewed anyway at retail price. Id rather renew my self at a price lower than retail wherever I can find it or maybe Id be disappointed with norton and might want to go with another company. I know I could get a refund but why should I have to lick the calf and have to fix something that should not have happened? As soon as I had this problem I started getting calls from Florida wanting me to renew for $350

> 3 dayI cant get this to install and keep getting DIFFERENT error messages. Support did a remote and totally screwed up my computer. He took away the window for me to talk to him and that allowed me to end it. When he started going through my desktop and personal files I had no choice but to shut down. Multiple calls to people that I just cant understand took up hours of my time. Norton refuses to help me. I have written a letter through the BBB hoping someone will understand me when I ask for someone without a heavy accent to help me. I asked multiple time on the phone and just got someone even harder to understand. Im 65, my hearing is great but as we age we lose some ability in sound distinction, especially when someone is talking 100 mph. Getting very close to returning and checking out Macafee

> 3 dayI’ve had Norton protection on my computer year after year. Several things annoy me about this software. Norton wants you to do automatic renewal ..give them your credit card ..that exposes my card when it’s not necessary. I can buy my Norton at a local store – have a product key.. but to load the software you MUST give them a credit card. Auto billing is convenient yes for them and maybe some, but what if Norton was hacked into? Also, scanning ..this feature seems to be tried to scary tactics ..to buy more protection. One day I’ll do a scan and it finds 100’s of issues ..next day none. I put up with these issues because I believe it’s the best protection out there.

> 3 dayIt works well, but its the price. You can buy this at a reasonable price one time, but it automatically renews. You dont have a choice there. This is where they get you. Its over $80 a year! Thats way more than any of the other antivirus software, and they are just as good. Plus they take the money out of your credit card a month before the subscription expires, so you dont have a chance to cancel.

> 3 dayDo not order this product. After the product key was accepted it would not download. I needed to contact Norton. So I went on live chat and they gave me a phone # to call, which I did. From there they told me they would check into it so against my better judgment I allowed them to get into my cp. From there it went downhil;l fast! He started hinting around there would be a price for this work. When I told him NO I would not pay etter usiness would be hearing from me, the tech hung up on me. When I went back into Live chat as to this issue, they starten swearing in their language which I belive was Indian dialect. WARNING do not buy Norton from Amazon!

> 3 dayWhat I dont like is the constant pop ups to either upgrade or to buy other Norton products. This is annoying to say the least.
