> 24 hourI was going to order it from a retail store, when I read the comments a few people felt the Norton came from a third party and had problems installing. This was from Norton worked great and tech support helped me get it installed. If you are on auto renew it will be quite a bit higher cost in a year. So find out how to turn off your auto renew. I still haven’t done it yet, they auto renew 3 months before expiration is what I heard/read?

> 24 hourI have been using Norton for close to 15 years (exclusively). I have never gotten a virus on my computer or been hacked. It has always worked for me (using Windows OS). Installation is very easy (log into the account online and download). One thing. I buy the code (hard copy and not a download) directly from Amazon. I do not use automatic renewal as Nortons prices are ridiculous many times (I turn off the auto-renewal function in my Norton account). Around Black Friday, I got a 12-month subscription for 5 computers for $15. That is a very good deal. Even $19 to $24 is a good deal.

> 24 hourI know amazon will probably sensor this but norton tech support is horrible, they just push you thru written directions, impossible chat let alone talk to someone, which is weird they ask for your phone #, they probably sell that. I own this downloaded from amazon wont dowmload, ZERO HELP AVAIL. macafee is where u will go

> 24 hourIve been a subscriber to Nortons security products for many years. Each time I re-up, there are always new possibilities bundled into the basic virus and malware protection. This time, I counted five new protections, which, once installed, likely do the job well, but time-wise, may need tech assistance to install them properly. Nortons tech service is superb--no waiting for chat-based help, and immediate a-haa comes up after the problem is explored. But--there are the unexplained pop-ups to promote the services of 360, and the frustration of their sudden apperance at the most awkward times. There is apparently no way to control these irritating pop-ups, which are more like a barb in ones shoe each time they appear. So my rating drops one star for this problem.

> 24 hourI dont mind having VERY frequent updates, scans and fixes because it is for security, but I have experienced fixes that forced me to keep my PC ON for hours! I tried to chat to get it troubleshot and it sent me to phone calls. In order to get confirmed for the call a recorded message asks me for my last 4 digits of the SSN and the year of birth (precisely the type of data you dont want circulating around!). FInally talked to a person who asked permission to login in my PC, the scan was magically over and the call got cut (I dont want to think he hanged up due to my complaints). Ive used NORTON for years, but I feel they are trying a lot of new stuff and going through painful troubleshooting. Im not happy but there seem to be few good alternatives.

> 24 hourEach year I purchase a new Norton 360 Deluxe, via card, to renew my anti-virus. Always have to call Norton customer service, never installs easily, plus always drop the auto-renew option.

> 24 hourNorton 360 Norton techs tried about 10 times to put the Norton 360 on my laptop with no success. This one was defective or has a wrong product key and was useless. I had to return it to Amazon for a refund and purchase Norton 360 from Norton while their tech was on the line renewing my Norton for 2023. Thankfully that one worked.

> 24 hourThis is the best price for protection om your PC. I hate Macafee, Staples wanted 150 bucks just for 1 year software. Got it here 1st year free. Installed myself. but noticed something not right. You can call their customer support. and they will fix it correctly with no problems. I recommend calling them to help you set this up. The renewal is something like 100 or a little more after 1st year. Well worth the price. Staples tried to get me to get a 150 tech plan for 1 year and decided not to do. Works with up to 5 devices. Having your own virtual private network for 1 year would cost that alone. Highly recommend. But just wished noticed for that many devices. Have vpn on TV. Really only needed for device my main Pc. So make sure you pick right one. I made a mistake. Could of got for one device half this price.
