> 3 dayMy old norton expired and I purchased this 1 year subscription (same software package)and when I went to install with the key code it came up with an error and then I started working with someone online and then on the phone. He said that due to extensions I could not install and he was able to fix it but took about 2 hours. Norton 360 is up and running but after dealing with tech support my Google page is messed up and I had to change passwords for norton. Very difficult and time consuming to install.

> 3 dayThe product itself is good. But I dont agree Norton force you to submit your payment information for its auto-renew purpose. I suggest you just use a prepaid VISA or MasterCard debit card, like $50 value, input its information when you install this software, then you just simply spend all the money on that debit card, so they cannot auto charge you when the time it is renewing. You just need to buy a new keycode then install it again.

> 3 dayI have been using Norton for over 20 years without issue. They continue to innovate and bring new features to their products, many times without cost increase. They have been reliable and for the most part have required little user interaction to work. Sure, there are all kinds of settings you can tweak but I find that for me it works pretty much right out of the box (so to speak). I run the scans at regular intervals and follow other prompts when directed but beyond that it just runs in the background. I use the password manager feature and safe web browser extensions regularly as well as Life Lock. I also use the android version on my phone and tablet because I just know it works. As good as the product has been though I do have a minor complaint. I could do without many of the notifications I get on my computer. These are not product related notifications. Many are company notifications or notifications with an attempt to upsell me to a product I do not need or want. You have a right to send an email if I agreed and signed up for it however sending unsolicited notifications just because I purchased your software can drive away customers and is not a good company practice. Luckily, the number of notifications to this point has been small yet still enough to warrant this response. On the note of shady business practices is a larger complaint that I have with this company and that is with their autorenewal service. By purchasing and installing the software you agree to an autorenewal policy. That really shouldnt be a big deal but here is where it gets shady. First, they want to charge your credit card over a month in advance of your renewal date. Of course, they notify you of the impending charge but 6 weeks before it is due, seriously. Another big thing with autorenewal is the cost. If you dont cancel it, they will charge you MSRP (that is suggested retail price not actual retail price) which at this time was around $106. $106 for an item selling for $20 to $30. Of course, as soon as you cancel autorenewal they hit you with an offer to renew at the much lower price. How about you stick what you would like to charge and just charge me what it is currently selling for at the time and do it one week before the due date not 6 weeks. Again, I really like the product and its features I could just do without yet another company trying to take advantage. I run your software to try and keep from being ripped off not just to allow you to do it. I now relinquish the soapbox.

> 3 dayI use it on my Windows PCs, and it does a decent job. Buy on Black Friday at Amazon: Price at twenty bucks here is ten bucks better than the best price the manufacturer can offer on renewal. And disable auto-renewal on the manufacturer portal 1 month before renewal for best deals from them. But doing so might stop some premium utilities from working.

> 3 dayIve used this product for several years and highly recommend it. HOWEVER, Norton is becoming more and more aggressive with forcing auto renew down your throat and bombarding you with ads, and ads disguised as recommendations. They make it quite difficult to purchase this item on Amazon and then get it successfully added to your account without 30 minutes on the phone or chat with tech support. If you just add the 25-digit code to your account, youll get your one year of coverage BUT LOSE ANY DAYS/MONTHS/YEARS REMAINING ON YOUR CURRENT SUBSCRIPTION. And if you dont turn on auto renew, youll lose access to some of the promised features, and pay through the nose when the auto renew hits. Norton is not a customer friendly company, so beware!

> 3 dayI HATE this software because they are constantly pushing Norton add ons. For as much as you pay per year, I shouldnt have to buy any add ons. But every day they are popping up trying to get me to purchase another type of add on. I do feel like it protects all our devices. But the bombardment of ads is unconscionable.

> 3 dayFirst - Nortons the best - always has been, I also use Malwarebytes and together they havent missed a thing for many, many years. Now... The claim is that you have to use a valid credit card to activate this and then you can go in and easily deactivate auto-renew. I tried using a Visa gift card - even one with a valid address and they wont accept those so had to use a real one. I dont want auto-renew as I dont want to pay 5 times the price one year from now - if this wasnt a scam then they would not be forcing it upon us. Now comes that easy part where you deactivate auto-renew right away - not gonna happen. The belief is youll just give up and forget about it and get slammed one year from now at a much higher price than you just finished paying today. Who knows, maybe in a year youll actually think, oh, that was nice of them and oh so easy, I didnt have to do anything accept pay a huge bill Stay the course - dont give up, after about 3 on line help sessions those elusive buttons that simply didnt seem to work will be activated for you by someone in India whos never heard of this before - trust me, this is the only thing these fellows have ever heard of. Ill be reading many reviews next year of other anti-virus software if this insane thing is still being force fed by Norton as, in my opinion, this is just about as bad as the viruses you bought it to protect you from.

> 3 dayLong term user of Norton products and this is the best Ive used. This is the first time Ive purchased Norton 360 Premium for 10 devices from Amazon. For reasons unknown to me, this is not available from the Norton web sites at the price I paid. What is available, is Norton 360 Deluxe for only 5 devices at a higher price than the cost of Amazons product. I needed coverage for six devices. If I purchased it through Norton itself, I would have had to pay more than twice the amount for Nortons 360 Deluxe which would have been a substantially increase. I leave the research of the price points up to you. The program is easily installed and works as advertised. The VPN works as stated, so if you dont want to be tracked by questionable folks out there, this is a must to have. I highly recommend this Norton product!
