Greater than one weekHave been using and trusting Norton Anti-virus for over 20 years. Great technology, seems to work. That is the key reason I have renewed every year. Indeed, the top three reasons is that their anti-virus software seems to work. However, I hate their idiot user approach. Tells me I have a possible virus in one email out of thousands in my Thunderbird email folder, and do I want to quarantine the entire folder? Absolutely NOT. Can not toss away thousands of messages. They should provide info, such as the message sender, subject, date & time. hate the renewal policy. After installation, if you allow them to auto renew another year, the cost is several times higher than a new purchase with a new serial number. Just buy new, get a virtual credit card from your bank with a $ limit, and use that for the required auto-renew data. Mixed feelings, but overall recommended because their anti-virus software works. The bonus feature of cloud backup is nice. Recommended as part of a safe computing strategy.

> 3 dayUnless you give them a credit card number with an outrageously (cancellable) overpriced mandatory renewal, no service for you. The funny thing is then that credit card will remain on file for life and no matter how much you beg them to delete it they wont. After you cancel it, then next year they will charge the card again if you dont cancel it on time. Ive been through that until I canceled my card.

> 3 dayIm tired of companies selling a product that is supposed to take care of all your issues only to find out that they have ANOTHER product that you need to keep things working/tidy. In this case, Norton 360 is supposed to be a one product to keep your computer protected and in good shape. Now theyve split off Norton Utilities and you have to buy that as a separate product. Hey Norton! Just call Norton 360 Norton Antivirus like you used to and quit misleading us to think this one product will take care of our computers upkeep. Its misleading at best.

> 3 dayIve used Norton in some form or another for over 15 years. It seems to get more and more complicated to activate a new subscription every year. This year was the worst yet. Youd think you could just provide the new product key and it would be applied to your existing devices. That would be too easy. What a f*****g pain in the butt. Thankfully I was finally able to add my 2 computers and 5 android devices (I had to remove every device then add them back one at a time ... WTF ???). Norton used to provide internet security - thats what I buy it for. Not all this other crap that I never use. Too many ads. Too many pop ups. Too many gyrations to unsubscribe from the mandatory auto-renewal. Too much aggravation. No more. Im done.

> 3 dayPlatform For Display: Key Card [12 Month, with Auto-Renewal]Edition: 10 Device When I installed the CODE for this item, it popped up that it could NOT BE DOWN LOADED. It gave me a PHONE NUMBER to call. When the person answered he said he was NORTON SECURITY AND I HAD A Virus!! Since it was a NORTON PRODUCT I TRUSTED him. He got access to my computer and was searching ALL MY ACCOUNTS! Luckily I had a GUT FEELING this was a SCAM, so I shut my computer off and proceeded to buy a new computer and change ALL MY ACCOUNTS and PASSWORDS. Do NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE. I am reporting it to Amazon Fraud Dept. and see if I can my money refunded.

> 3 daySo the key features from this package that stand out to me are: protection for 10 devices, an included VPN, basic Lifelock coverage, a password manager, and 75GB of cloud back-up. So yeah, you get a lot to say the least. The only thing I found mildly irritating is that it had to be shipped. Previously, you could have a digital code sent, and its still an option if you want it linked with Amazon. I also recommend that each year, you disable your Norton subscription, and then just buy another code here. Youll save money that way, but you have to remember to do that extra IT administration one day a year.

> 3 dayAs scam. HORRIBLE, I contacted the General Attorneys office and it is NOT LEGAL in Massachusetts and probably illegal in other states as well. A fully TIME LIMITED paid service that FORCES customers to provide future payment information. I spent hours with support to no avail, no matter what you do they say NO! They BS you saying they want to check your REGION matches your serial, OMG!!!! What a crack of feces. HOW TO CANCEL THE AUTO RENEW & DELETE YOUR BILLING INFO: - Enter your payment information (yes...to use something you ALREADY PAID) and activate your product. - Go to support and search for Cancel your automatically renewing subscription or similar (the link that says CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION RENEWAL under MY SUBSCRIPTIONS tab DOESNT WORK!!!). - Once you get the ChatBot support screen (they call it Kate) select all options that lead to cancelling subscription renewal. - The ChatBot will do everything it can to keep you on subscription auto renewal, REJECT IT ALL or you cant delete your credit card later!!!!. - After the ChatBot acknowledges the subscription auto renewal cancellation go to MY SUBSCRIPTIONS and check it is disabled (it now should say ACTIVATE SUBSCRIPTION RENEWAL this means it is disabled). -Once it is cancelled you can go to the BILLING INFORMATION tab and delete (trash icon at the bottom) the credit card or PayPal account to remove info that they do not deserve. For a self proclaimed security company the pry in your personal life and forcefully gather your information a lot. I hate (I have not written this word in decades) Norton and Lifelock, truly do. I will push for a boycott and will test Kaspersky and Mcafee as replacements. I have really had it with Norton and Lifelock, they will be hacked and all our info will become vulnerable.
