> 3 dayLast time I used Norton Utilities, Peter Norton was still around and Symantec had just bought out Peter. At the time I felt it was a unwanted drag on system resources, of course the resources on a 386 or 486 were pretty scarce compared to whet weve had in the last 10 years. This version seems not to be pesky in that way. Ive not noticed any particular hit in performance on my AMD 3700X or my decade-old Stony Bridge and Ivy Bridge i7s. There are annoyances with the constant promotion of their Chrome extensions (of which I am mostly dubious), their VPN, and a variety of other parts of the product. Ive avoided most of these mostly out of distrust. And I already have a VPN. It did an excellent job of doing a complete scan, including my NAS (which I was happy to see). I am going to hope that I can avoid paying the full monte for another year, having put purchase of another package in my calendar for 11 months after installation. I am happier with this than I was with BitDefender or Eset similar packages. But I still think I ought to get at least the freeware version of Malwarebytes. Belt and suspenders, you see.<G>

> 3 dayIT APPEARS THIS PACKAGE HAS SOMEWHAT IMPROVED OPERATIONAL FEATURES AND DOCUMENTATION. NORTON HAS RESOLVED ISSUES ON THINGS SUCH AS HIDING PROCEDURE FOR CANCELLATION OF AUTO-RENEWAL FEATURE. OPERATIONALLYTHUS FAR, IT APPEARS THAT MY PC IS NOT SHUTTING DOWN MY WIRELESS CONNECTION (WHILE PC IN SLEEP MODE). THIS PREVIOUSLY OCCURRED FREQUENTLY AFTER INSTALLATION OF 2020 NORTON 360. NOT SURE IF THIS WAS A NORTON ISSUE, AN OPERATING SYSTEM PROBLEM, OR PROVIDER MANIPULATING BANDWIDTH DURING LATE EVENING AND EARLY MORNING HOURS. IT IS GOOD TO SEE WIRELESS INTEGRITY APPEARS TO BE RESTORED. THIS AMAZON PURCHASE WAS APPROXIMATELY 1/5 OF THE COST OF THAT OF THE OEM RENEWAL PROCESS AND PERMITS 10 USERS INSTEAD OF 3. IT HAS BEEN INSTALLED FOR APPROIMATELY ONE WEEK, SO I WILL AWAIT MORE TIME TO EVALUATE THE REMAINDER OF THE PACKAGE. SLIGHTLY NEGATIVE COMMENT, THE INSTALLATION TIME WAS SOMEWHAT LENGTHY.

> 3 daySo the key features from this package that stand out to me are: protection for 10 devices, an included VPN, basic Lifelock coverage, a password manager, and 75GB of cloud back-up. So yeah, you get a lot to say the least. The only thing I found mildly irritating is that it had to be shipped. Previously, you could have a digital code sent, and its still an option if you want it linked with Amazon. I also recommend that each year, you disable your Norton subscription, and then just buy another code here. Youll save money that way, but you have to remember to do that extra IT administration one day a year.

Greater than one weekUsed Norton for more than a decade. I could have done without the constant up-selling.

> 3 dayIm tired of companies selling a product that is supposed to take care of all your issues only to find out that they have ANOTHER product that you need to keep things working/tidy. In this case, Norton 360 is supposed to be a one product to keep your computer protected and in good shape. Now theyve split off Norton Utilities and you have to buy that as a separate product. Hey Norton! Just call Norton 360 Norton Antivirus like you used to and quit misleading us to think this one product will take care of our computers upkeep. Its misleading at best.

> 3 dayWell all I can say is I hope I can get my money back. After about 20 mins on my cell phone I was able to get someone on the web to to let me know. That u won’t get billed for it which wasn’t my first question. It was once I got on there web site there was no “premium 360 to choose when I had to pick. So they put me on Hold for just a minute or 2. Then some one else go on and asked me again what my problem was that I already purchased it and had a key number. After they couldn’t understand how it was already paid for but after I told them I purchased it from amazon she said hold on a minute so while I was holding on I was transferred to another screen which was a syntax screen then I lost the connection. Went home and got onto my chrome book and triied to get back on but I wasn’t getting anywhere so I made the mistake of chosen a phone call for help. After a few minutes of having to complete some forms of. What my problem was it gave somethings to try which I already did and I might add the reason I wanted to talk to some one I was to avoid getting the run around and still have to get on the phone l have a hard time typing because my hands start cramping up and I never was much good at typing and being an old timer I wasn’t about to start learning to. When I could only get a phone number. But not to be deterred I kept plugging along. And filled out another info sheet so they could direct me to the rt number I was finally given it. Then I called the “ 800 “ u I know that right number to callNumber and get a person who could barely speak comprehensible English . Well u get the picture. So after an hr the final answer is I cannot install it on my system. That was after I had t keep asking him to let me finish what I was saying and constantly asking him to please repeat himself over and over and over again .so I started to install this a little after 9 last nite and when I.finally called it quits it was 10: 20 pm. Gone to keep McAfee I gave McAfee , my credit card and my choice and imagine that poof there was my system all ready to go. Now I know why McAfee has 80 percent of the fortune one hundred companies. Maybe there not bilingual either.

> 3 dayIve used this product for several years and highly recommend it. HOWEVER, Norton is becoming more and more aggressive with forcing auto renew down your throat and bombarding you with ads, and ads disguised as recommendations. They make it quite difficult to purchase this item on Amazon and then get it successfully added to your account without 30 minutes on the phone or chat with tech support. If you just add the 25-digit code to your account, youll get your one year of coverage BUT LOSE ANY DAYS/MONTHS/YEARS REMAINING ON YOUR CURRENT SUBSCRIPTION. And if you dont turn on auto renew, youll lose access to some of the promised features, and pay through the nose when the auto renew hits. Norton is not a customer friendly company, so beware!

> 3 dayThis purchase was to enable my continued Norton 360 protection when my current subscription expires. I give it only 4 stars because I havent had any recent experience with their competition. Ive always been happy with the product, had good experiences with Tech Support when I needed it and generally have seen no reason to change. I dont like the automatic renewal feature but you can cancel it. (Tech Support will help you figure it out - it isnt totally intuitive!) Is it the best product? I dont know. Maybe there is something better -- the rankings on AV products seem to vary year by year -- but Norton 360 fits my needs and, again, I see no reason to change.
