> 24 hourThe original board in my 1st gen Ender 3 fried so replaced it with this and its so quiet that all you hear is the fans. It comes flashed with the firmware so its plug and play and the print quality has definitely improved.

> 24 hourI finally got around to installing the board. The marlin version that was pre installed was version 0.0.6. My attempts to apply new firmware on a fat32 formatted SD card did not work. The bootloader would not initialize and preform the update. I wish I didn’t wait so long to install it. Now I am out the money I spent on it.

> 24 hourFairly simple install. Flashed the firmware onto the board and now the fan is the loudest thing about the printer. Exactly how I wanted it.

> 24 houras of this writing, creality has the wrong latest firmware on their site. board comes with 0.66 installed. it is truly plug and play, but make sure your electronics fan is modified to run all the time as these stepper drivers generate quite a bit of heat. on a side note, my steppers are running about 20-25c cooler after the board swap

> 24 hourAs others have noted this is almost a drop-in replacement for the old board. There was no documenation with the board, the only item not clear was what connectors to use for the two different use-case fans on the hotend. The only noise now is from the fans, there is no motor movement noise. Upgrading firmware is easy, copy it to the SD card and reboot the printer.

> 24 hourAfter hours of trying to update the firmware I realized I hasnt having any success because the bootloader was not installed as described. Tried both .bin files via the SD card and .hex files via direct USB connection. Both update methods worked no problem on my old board but not this one. Quite a bummer as this was supposed to an upgrade over my old board so that I could use the CR touch probe. But, with no bootloader to add the touch firmware, this thing is no better then my old board.

> 24 hourInstall was straight forward and instructions clear. The only issue I ran into was having to swap out my BL-touch cable as this board has a differ connector than the factory board. I am legitimately shocked at how quiet this board made my printer. The fans are by far the loudest thing on the printer now.
