> 24 hourTo start out I want to say this is a well constructed product that I really enjoy. Now to a couple things that Ive noticed in the weeks that Ive owned it. First thing I noticed was the fact that if you press your foot on the pedals with force what happens is the pedals slowly slide further away from you no matter how tight you turn the knob in front of the seat. The other issue is I purchased the seat lift kit, which is very nice, it lifted the seat perfectly the issue is that when you lift the steering wheel up it gets closer and closer to your chest so that it is uncomfortable to drive and it cant be slid forward any further without then not being able to reach the pedals. Overall its a really great product the seat is very comfortable hence the four stars, it would have been five if the two issues werent there. Hopefully this helps people, also it was easily put together with clear instructions.

> 24 hourIt shipped within 2 hours of ordering it, showed up at my door a day earlier than expected (4 business days all together), and it assembled very easily! I also ordered the seat lift kit and flight sim kit which all came in the same box so I didnt have to wait for other packages. It works even better than expected for my needs. I use it with iRacing, American Truck Simulator, and Elite Dangerous. Very solid, no wiggle in the steering wheel or pedals.

> 24 hourAmazing sim racing seat!!! Extremely well built and sturdy (see attached pictures). PARTS & ASSEMBLY: All parts came in a well-organized and packaged box with Styrofoam and bubble wrap. All tools (13 & 17 mm wrenches and two hex wrenches) to assemble are included in a nice zippered fabric bag, nuts and bolts come in individually labeled zip lock bags. Assembly manual is in full color and includes parts list and detailed instructions. Includes additional bolts and washers to attach your own wheel and pedals (Im using the t300rs). Main chrome tube angles upward to provide support to the pedal plate, had NO issue with pedal plate flexing. Different sized knobs are used to secure lower main and upright tubes. Took me about 15 minutes to assemble the unit and another 15 minutes to adjust all tubes and zip tie (included) all the cables. USE: Have used seat for a week and it is very comfortable, especially on endurance races. Lower and upper side bolsters could be tighter (Im 510” and 180 lbs), but I still feel secure in the seat. I like the fact you can adjust the recline of the seat from upright, GT racing, to reclined for F1 racing. Had very little flex in the upright wheel post and adjustment options in/out, up/down, tilt make getting the best/comfortable driving position easy. (Just added Thrustmaster HOTAS, had to get another shift mount, see photos). STORAGE: I remove the main tube (w/ pedal and wheel tube) from the seat base. I fold the seat flat then lean it upright against the wall in a closet. I then prop the pedal and wheel assembly next to it. Takes less than 5 minutes to put-away and assemble for next round of racing. Highly recommend this rig for its solid construction, care in packaging, quality material, finish, adjustment options, ability to recline and comfort. Hats off to OW for a stellar product!!!

> 24 hourI rarely write reviews but had to for this. It is awesome! I was very happy with my other wheel stand, light, easy to stow. But it was not very stable. I always had to be a bit careful with braking pressure and how hard throw the wheel around. With this setup, and using VR, I am falling I living with racing sims all over again! Solid, stable, and comfortable, even for me being on the fluffy side! Full disclosure cause it’s a question I always have, “will I fit comfortably?” Well I’m 5’10 and about 280(working on it) and it fits me just fine. When I was over 325 I could have seen it being maybe a bit tight of a squeeze, but not much. So much space to slide the rail with the pedals and wheel stand away. A great feature is the ability to slide the seat like in a real car, of course you can lean the seat back as well, but being able to find that perfect setup, and not have to adjust it to get out, makes it way easier for me to race when I might not be feeling like pulling out my old setup. Again you can check my history, I don’t leave many reviews, but this one demanded it of me, I’m pretty frugal and spending this much money is never a throw away thing for me. Worth every penny! Only problem I have now is figuring out a way to set up my hotas and rudder in an easy way to switch out.

> 24 hourReceived the black seat unit earlier than expected. Had to pause assembling to write this review. Seat and parts are packaged well. Five tools are provided! Screws, nuts and bolts are grouped A-G, individually packaged and labeled all in a black zipper lined pouch!! Instructions are CLEAR!!! (Who does this?!) My assembling confidence rises with each page because this company knows what they’re doing!!!! Impressive!

> 24 hourI purchased the OpenWheeler Gen3 Cockpit and accessories back early 2021. My original setup had been for VR flight-based simulations, but it has now been expanded to incorporate driving as well. Even with regular use over almost a year and half, it still feels practically new. Flexibility of the system has been great (configuration options with the secondary add-ons). Switching to/from driving configuration is two hand screws and then sliding the main support to/away from the cockpit. Overall, less than a minute to switch the setup. Other thoughts: - Highly recommend having a powered USB hub at the Cockpit, it is great for cable management. - Team HomeRacer (Seller) provides great assembly guidance and also has a stellar support team if you have any questions or requests for custom accessories.

> 24 hourFantastic entry setup. Can’t think of any cons, other than I probably wouldn’t use it for direct drive but chances are if you have one then you already know why. If you’re new in the market and overwhelmed by all the choices then look no further. Sturdy, great materials, comfy seat. Absolutely get what you pay for here. Unless you absolutely want an open wheeler seating position I would recommend the optional seat risers.

> 24 hourMy 1st racing rig and I couldnt be happier. Assembly was about as easy as you can get and the finished product is solid. Nothing moves, nothing is in the way. The center post isnt perfectly ideal but in all honesty, it hasnt impeded my performance. I wish the tilt was easier to adjust on the steering wheel bracket but maybe gen4 can work on that. Im very satisfied with this purchase!

> 24 hourIve used this cockpit for a few days now and am very happy with it. Please note that the cat, clutter on the desk, steering wheel and pedals do not come with this product and are items I added after assembly. I added the chair lift kit as I am not a spring chicken anymore and its easier to get in and out of the chair with it raised a bit. Overall, assembly was easy, instructions were clear and component bags were clearly labeled, allowing for assembly with minimal confusion

> 24 hourIt came with wrenches to assemble it! It fit together perfectly and had actual nuts and bolts with real threads that actually work !! Made in the USA with very well labelled packages with mounting hardware and for the most common models of steering wheels, pedals or joystick accessory you want to mount.
