> 3 dayReally well built and more importantly i appreciate how thought out the design is. You can set the steering to the perfect length, height, angle etc. pedal rest is good, seat is comfy, and the rig is stable. I really liked how they provided a small screw for the side shaft for the steering column as that doesn’t interfere with the leg and how you can move the pedal plate left and right for best comfort around the middle steering column.

> 3 daySolid product!! All around very happy I bought this. It came with good tools to put it together with, also instructions were not bad either. But they had a great video on YouTube by the company that shows you how to put it together real quick. Very strong rig. I also bought the seat risers. Also good quality. I had one strip out it might have been my fault. But regardless I reached out to the seller telling them that I might have stripped one out during the install and they got back to me within a few hours and 2 day aired me a whole new set. What a great company and an even better race rig for the price. If your thinking about getting it. You won’t be disappointed. Also after sitting in this chair for pretty much the entire last week, and not being able to tell how comfortable is would be from the pictures. I have too say I got lucky with this one! It is so comfortable I am an older dad 6’1 & 220lb and I can’t sit in anything too long, but this chair is probably my favorite part of the whole thing. Everything was very well done. Great product great service. I recommend you take a hard look at this one. Hope this helps someone out there and have a great day.

> 3 dayTo start out I want to say this is a well constructed product that I really enjoy. Now to a couple things that Ive noticed in the weeks that Ive owned it. First thing I noticed was the fact that if you press your foot on the pedals with force what happens is the pedals slowly slide further away from you no matter how tight you turn the knob in front of the seat. The other issue is I purchased the seat lift kit, which is very nice, it lifted the seat perfectly the issue is that when you lift the steering wheel up it gets closer and closer to your chest so that it is uncomfortable to drive and it cant be slid forward any further without then not being able to reach the pedals. Overall its a really great product the seat is very comfortable hence the four stars, it would have been five if the two issues werent there. Hopefully this helps people, also it was easily put together with clear instructions.

> 3 dayArrived well packaged, and a day early, with all the tools and bolts/nuts organized better than most self assembled products. Quick and easy assembly with good instructions. It is very low to the ground, but unless you have mobility issues it doesnt really matter. Quality seems to be as expected or better for the price. Is it as solid as a P1-X? Probably not- but that costs nearly $800 and doesnt come with a seat. Seems to also be a decent number of accessories available, although those do seem a little higher price than Id expect, but not nearly as bad as some other hobbies can be.

21-11-2024This product made is of very study, high quality material. Its modular, so its versatile in use, and easily ready to store. I one of the posts, on the lift kit that I purchased, had stripped out threading. I contacted Openwheeler about it, and they sent me a replacement instantly, with no charge. I didnt even have to mail the broken piece back. To be clear, I ordered many things from them, only one piece had a defect and they took care of me instantly. I give these guys 5 stars, hand down.

> 3 dayWe just got the openwheeler gen2 a few days ago and i can’t get my sons off of the chair! They are loving it! Assembly was easy and quick, and it seems of very good quality. Chair is comfortable and the wheel / pedals position is very realistic. I am very pleased with this product!

> 3 dayLove this seat. Expensive and hard to justify but amazing. I spent 10 years simracing from an office char on my PC, too young and financially burdened to justify spending any money on a sim seat. Now, over 10 years since giving up simracing with the death Papyruss Nascar Racing series, a recent demo of Forza 6 and a cheap wheel had me itching to race again. The wheel mounted on a tray table just wasnt doing anything for me (uncomfortable and unstable). I started watching this seat/stand and knew it was amazing but figured my wife would never go for it. After convincing her that you only live once and it was worth it, she surprised me with this for Christmas. Easy to Assemble, Highly Adjustable, Comfortable, Incredibly well made and just really absolutely beautiful. Wheels on the front under the pedal mount to lift the seat and drag it out of the room when she wants it out of sight are a perfect addition. I bought a cheap non force feedback wheel (but now wish I had gone for Force Feedback) Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 , so the red on black wheel matches perfectly. It is rock solid when driving. There are simply no cons. You get what you pay for. It is expensive and was hard to justify but once you own it, you wonder why you didnt get one sooner. I left off the side gear shifter adapter as I do not have one. It saves space and there is less to bump into when moving around it. It is a big chair but the resulting cushioning is perfect.

19-11-2024We got this for my son for Christmas. He is 12 and its a great fit for his size and he has plenty of room to also grow into it. He has it on the second to smallest setting. So I would definitely say age 10+ would be the best starting age for this seat. The assembly was pretty easy, the seat is in one piece and then you need to attach the stand. He uses it with the Thurstmaster TMX Pro wheel and it mounted nicely to the stand. The only drawback (which has nothing to do with the seat but the wheel) is that the USB wire needs to run from the wheel to the Xbox so there is a wire on the floor that can be a tripping hazard. Overall happy with the purchase and its great quality

> 3 dayI started out looking at Wheel Stand Pro Super G to mount my Logitech G29, but quickly stumbled upon the OpenWheeler Gen 2. Based on the large number of positive reviews I decided it was worth the extra money to get a full racing rig. Glad I made the leap! I added the OpenWheeler Seat Lift Kit and OpenWheeler Universal Bracket so I could mount a Buttkicker mini LFE subwoofer to my setup. With these upgrades I no longer have a racing seat, I own a racing simulator! The item was packed very well and the box was no larger than it needed to be. Assembly and setup were a breeze. I suggest you get the Seat Lift Kit at time of purchase to simplify the setup process and save you the trouble from disassembling it all later. I believe the seat lift kit should be included standard since its so good, but understand the manufacturer is trying to hit a lower price point to compete with other solutions. My first recommendation for future improvement includes changing the location of the three large knobs on the base of steering column and main support. Their placement makes entry and exit a bit awkward and it seems like Im always bumping my feet into them. The rig is sturdy enough, but if they could place the large knobs on the side it would make entry and exit easier. My second recommendation would be to alter the design so I could push the steering wheel further away from me, but bring the foot pedals closer. I like to drive with my arms a bit more extended. Maybe a U shaped cut out in the foot pedal plate? Overall, Im extremely happy with the OpenWheeler setup and my buddy is impressed with it. He now loves playing Gran Turismo. Previously, he said he wasnt into racing games, but he sure is now! Very happy with my investment.

> 3 dayAbsolutely love the seat and it has enhanced my iRacing experience. It is very easy to put together and is very sturdy. It does sit very low (literally on the ground) and the lift bars are a must. It can be a little difficult to get in and out depending on how far you like your pedals and what height you like wheel, but I like a compact setup . Overall its a great product and Im very happy with my purchase.
