> 3 dayBought the OpenWheeler rig for my new Logitech G29. I will start with the package: It came in pretty large box, and couple more boxes with parts and hardware inside. Packaging was pretty good. Chair was bubble wrapped and all the rest of the parts were individually bubble wrapped in two additional boxes. Assembly: It took me about 20 minutes to assemble it and mount my Logitech G29 wheels and pedals on it. Assembly manual was pretty straight forward. I followed the short instructions with pictures step by step and no surprises there. Seat: The seat is made of fabric material, and it looks pretty solid. Seat itself is deep bright blue ( I picked the color). They had five or six more colors available If I am not wrong. The backrest has a little bump for my lumbar support which I like. I have done over 5 hours racing and the seat is very comfortable. Chassis: Chassis is all made of powder coated or zinc plated metal square tubing and plates. By eye, I would say the steel is about 1/8 thick. Everything is held together by rubberized handle knobs. Extremely adjustable: seat sliders, reclining backrest, up/down forward backward wheel position, forward backward pedal plate. I don’t plan on using gear shifter for the mount included in the kit so I am planning to come with something to make a cup holder out of it. My Logitech G29 bolted down right on. All hardware and some tools are included. I can definitely recommend the Openwheeler seat/stand and I am very happy with the G29 combo I chose. Hope the above detailed review helps the rest of fellow racing gamers out there.

> 3 daySetup is fairly simple and straight forward. Excellent customer service. I made a mistake putting it together and within 30 minutes of contacting them, Dimitar, the rep, contacted me and gave his personal number. After sending pictures he stated I had bent some of the product and once I had made adjustments he stated he would send replacement parts free of charge. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS MY MISTAKE!!! Great quality product parts worked just fine even after my blunder. Customer service is amazing. 100% would recommend. I even texted Dimitar after I put it together to thank him and he texted me back. Amazing. Buy this product.

> 3 dayFive stars with the caveat that the pedal plate angle is not adjustable. I knew this from the pictures when I bought it but after using the whole set-up, it would be much more comfortable for me (and a more realistic seating position) if the angle was adjustable so I could angle it down. Other than that I love it. The seat has MUCH more padding than I expected and is very comfortable. I do need to use a small pillow as a lumbar support because of my back but the seat itself is great. Assembly was very easy, the seat adjusts as advertised, I love the looks, and again the seat has much more padding than expected and is very comfortable. I dont know who created the instruction pamphlet but it is top-notch with clear color pictures showing each step of assembly. The packing job was great also. The manufacturer really put time and effort into planning the packing and creating the assembly instructions. I highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayShift pedals to right because right shin will rub center square tube when applying brake also i recommend the risers because getting up and down from seat is a pain. Other than that its awesome we got shifter too I bought for my 16 year old to learn how to drive the wheel has a paddle shifter so shifter not needed right away. On a side note i weigh 200 ish and seat shakes ever so slightly when driver an agressive track but makes it seem more realistic

08-06-2025Fantastic racing and flight sim rig and an even better company. Purchased this seat and attached 4 bass shakers but wanted to use it for flight and racing so I made a few minor mods to be able to switch between the two. Contacted the company about the flight sim accessories they are working on to ask if I could purchase them. They told me they were still tweaking some things but they were almost done. They sent me their flight sim stuff, new riser setup for the seat, new steering wheel stand, and new base plate all for free. They also included a nice 4 point harness for the thing. I am extremely satisfied with the customer service of this company as well as the product they have. Amazon will not allow links in a review for whatever reason but if you search Openwheeler racing/flight simulator setup on youtube you can see a quick video of mine.

> 3 dayI dont run my brakes with a loadcell ( v3 pedals) and low force so idk how plate would handle super heavy 90 kg pressure or something but for me its good same with steering no noticeable flex. Only annoyance is pole between your legs but seat is super comfy. my manual says gen 3 idk if thats a misprint or I got an updated version but 5/5 best storable rig Ive seen for the money. P.S riser kit is must get if you plan on playing with your tv/monitors in a higher place since this seat/frame is basically on the floor.

> 3 dayI used to own a Wheelstand Pro to race with my Logitech G27 wheel & pedals. After I installed a 35kg loadcell brake mod however, I needed something more stable because the wheelstand moved around to much. After some research I found the OpenWheeler Gen2 and ordered it together with the Seat Lift Kit. Packaging and included tools are great and the overall built quality and attention to detail are outstanding. The step by step instructions are easy to follow and overall it took me about 2.5hours to get race ready. I am 64 tall and have plenty of space to adjust everything as needed. The high quality seat is very comfortable even for longer play sessions. I have imited space so I like the fact that it can easily by partially disassembled and neatly tucked away in a relatively small area. I highly recommend this chair and definitely recommend buying the Seat Lift Kit as well.

> 3 dayThe seat is very comfortable, the assembly instructions are second to none. The pedal plate is supported by casters, so you can easily roll the whole thing around when not in use by lifting at the seat back. The plate that the wheel gets mounted pivots on a single bolt, so you have to really tighten it to prevent the wheel from drooping. The steering wheel plate is supported by a few square tubes that slide into each other and secured with hand knobs. There is some play in this fitment so when you tighten the knobs down the plate is slightly skewed, not centered with respect to the seat. Its not a problem when driving, but looks a bit odd. Overal, recommended. Great value for the money.

> 3 dayI bought this chair and really like it. It provides a great racing experience. I use it along with a Thrustmaster T-GT Racing Wheel and pedals and a Samsung Odyssey+ VR headset. When playing Project Cars 2 it literally feels like Im driving a real car. Its very fun and very realistic. The chair itself isnt as at the same level as a real car seat. But with that being said both the chair and the frame are well made and feel very solid. And the seat can be adjusted just like a regular car seat. You can also adjust the position and angle of the steering wheel mount. The pedal mount can also be adjusted front, back, left and right. This thing can be adjusted to fit just about anybody. I have seen some complaints about the wheel post being in the way. I havent had a problem with that. But I did have to adjust the pedal mount to one side to make things work. The post is solid and works fine. One nice thing about it is that it moves a very small amount when using heavy force feed back. This causes road effect to be felt better through the steering wheel and also provides a small amount of road effect feel to the frame, seat, and pedals. But you would probably need a steering wheel with strong force feedback ability to get this effect. I bought the 5 inch riser kit option when I got the seat and Im glad I did. I would STRONGLY recommend getting it to anybody. It raises the seat 5 inches. Which makes it easier to get in and out of. It also improves the angles of the pedals in relation to your feet (in my opinion).
