> 3 dayOrdered on Saturday afternoon, received Monday afternoon. Watched a few UTube videos, one by DeanInItYourself worked great for me. Like he keeps saying Slow Down & Be Patient. Labeled all the screws on a piece of cardboard in the order they came out. A lot of the screws are similar. The S / Tri Tip 2.0 Screwdriver that you need was included with the drive. Everything seems to be working. Wife is Happy Again !!

> 3 dayNot as quiet as the original drive but not overly loud. Good value. Definitely need to order specialty triwing screw driver to install.

> 3 dayOne day I tried to play a game on my Nintendo Wii but the disc couldn’t be read. The optical drive also made a lot of loud noises while trying to read the disc before spitting it back out. I replaced the drive with this Amazon purchase and fixed my problem easily.

> 3 dayworked perfectly on my original wii. as others have stated, this is NOT NEW. its refurb/rebuilt etc. but for $20 who cares. as long as it works. takes 10 minutes to install. super easy. brought my wii back to life after collecting dust not being used for a few years!

> 3 dayWorked for me. Based on other reviewers, I used the ifixit guide and it worked like a champ in about half an hour. You definitely need a tri-wing screwdriver and a 000 size Phillips (plus slightly larger Phillips that you probably already have in your house somewhere) but you can do without the spudgel, just use your fingernail.

> 3 dayWe have the tools & knowledge needed. Requires specialty Y & Phillips screwdrivers and some knowledge of this type of work. Put in and the Wii works as good as it did when new. Time will tell on how long the drive lasts. Some cover hinges will probably break and it easy to strip screws in the plastic case of the Wii - not cause by the part but by case design.
