> 3 dayTook the old drive out, put this one in and was good to go in about 30 minutes. It’s been about a month and still working good.

> 3 dayOrdered on Saturday afternoon, received Monday afternoon. Watched a few UTube videos, one by DeanInItYourself worked great for me. Like he keeps saying Slow Down & Be Patient. Labeled all the screws on a piece of cardboard in the order they came out. A lot of the screws are similar. The S / Tri Tip 2.0 Screwdriver that you need was included with the drive. Everything seems to be working. Wife is Happy Again !!

> 3 dayOne day I tried to play a game on my Nintendo Wii but the disc couldn’t be read. The optical drive also made a lot of loud noises while trying to read the disc before spitting it back out. I replaced the drive with this Amazon purchase and fixed my problem easily.

> 3 dayWorked just fine. The one thing to be careful with in the steps while installing it, is to be careful when you remove the front face plate. Theres 2 very small wires (red, green?) they separate from the plastic plug in really easy if youre not paying attention.

> 3 dayIts been 7 years since I first bought my replacement and it continues to run like a charm. Be sure to study a teardown well in advance to be safest with your installation

Greater than one weekInstalled without difficulty exactly as online YouTube videos describe. Exact fit, normal function after replacement. Quick receipt after order and fair price. Definitely worth the price to avoid buying a new console. This is the 2nd replacement on this console. Word to the wise: ALWAYS remove Call of Duty disk when not playing. Otherwise it will significantly shorten your drive lifetime. This is a known Nintendo issue. If your console is relatively new, I hear that direct contact to Nintendo may be met with a free replacement/repair. Too late for me as I had already replaced the factory drive once previously.

> 3 dayWas very disappointed when are second Wii came up with the dreaded disk error. We have so many games we had to repair. Bought this drive and purchased a triwing screwdriver set separately and was able to install this while following a online video of the tear down and Installion with no issues at all. Plug it in and our Wii was back up and running like the day we got it

Greater than one weekI compared it to the original drive, they are the same. My only problem was my fault, I bent a pin and had to use the circuit board out of my original drive. I love that they included a screw driver for nintendos infuriating tri wing screws. Be careful, those screws strip super easily.

> 3 dayIm certain this item was pulled from a returned Wii (under warranty). Its extremely LOUD while spinning the DVD. Can be heard from another room. Its with all DVD when playing. Disappointed. It works. All I can say. I expect the DVD to eject one day and fly across the room and go through the wall.
