This pack is awesome! I ride on at least 100 miles on my mountain bike a month and is everything you need when riding. I have an Osprey hydration backpack and I noticed on the downhill portions of my rides, I would have the pressure of everything in my pack weighted on my shoulders. This was a problem especially on longer rides. Many of my friends had the Dakine pack just like this one, but I have stuck with Osprey and they have never disappointed. This pack has lots of space. I ride with two water bottles, my phone, a multi-tool, two tubes, two CO2 cartridges, and a shop towel. All this fits in the pack and still has room for more. This pack is a great price, has lots of room, and everything you need for mountain biking.

Best thing Ive ever bought for MTB. Fits a small pump, tube, phone, multi tool and plenty of other things. Water bottles remain in even under hard jumps. From time to time I hit the bottle on the saddle but its still 10x better than carrying a backpack or having to maintain a bladder.

This is more like a hiking expedition fanny pack. It is humongous. It has lots of storage space for hydration as well as snacks, first aid gear, and other knick nacks.

This is the most comfortable waist pack Ive ever worn. Even with two full water bottles in it (which is what I got it for), it carries very well and doesnt get too sweaty. Honestly, my biggest gripe with it is that it has too much storage. I really just wanted a small fanny pack that could hold two water bottles for longer rides, but no one seems to make a minimalist lumbar pack that carries two bottles, so I got this one. Im very happy with it, but I would prefer a smaller cargo compartment, and I could do without the little zippered pockets on the hip straps.

Ive used Osprey backpacks for mountain biking for years and bought this pack based on my previous positive experiences with the company. Unfortunately, after one ride, Ive returned it. The two main issues are the water bottle holders. First of all, the lone strap underneath the bottle to keep it from sliding out the bottom is stitched off to the side, not directly under the middle of the bottle. The bottles will stay in place while the pack is on due to compression, but while youre attaching the pack to your waist, its hard to keep them from sliding out. This leads to issue #2 - There is no possible way to put the bottles back into the pack without taking it off your waist. Seriously Osprey?? The sleeves are behind your back and are very tight/compressed while the pack is attached to your waist. While I thought it may be difficult to put them back while riding, I sadly found out you cant even do it while stopped. A truly poor design; please spend your money on a pack thats better designed.

Grand Son was so excited to have his own. He had been using a friend’s. Great gift idea

Originally purchased for a trip to Boundary Waters. I packed it SUPER full and the zippers were up for the challenge. The top carry handle is great for not dumping out your water or other items when handling the bag. It also stands up because of the semi-rigid back. Speaking of which, the back panel is supremely comfortable. Ive worn it in front and back, walking and mountain biking. The nailed the fit. Just the right amount of padding while not getting too hot. Some complain about the water bottle holders, but I love that they snap and fold away when not being used. I sometimes carry only one water bottle so this is really handy. Shorter water bottles (think standard bike bottles) work best. I have fit a taller 27.5 oz. bottle, but it doesnt feel secure when riding. Also 32oz. Hydroflasks = no go. There are a number of straps to keep everything tight and I used these to attach multi-tools, bug nets, sanitizer etc. My one complaint is that the small top zipper compartment, looks to be for a phone or sunglasses, fills the main zippered compartment. Ive noticed that only flat objects can fit in that pocket if the main compartment is full. Overall, this is the best non-bladder Osprey fanny pack. Save $30 and buy your own water bottles, you wont be disappointed.

Great pack but my bottles fall off sometimes on tech trails on my bike. Still like the pack.
