> 3 dayThis is the second pack I had sent that was defective. I exchanged the first one, this one I am getting a refund and will try another model hiking pack. This was very disappointing, I have other Osprey products and they are top quality, this one was not ! The water bottle holder is suppose to snap into place, the snaps are broke and this was the same defect on the exchange pack, and the same side. Do not order this product. I will write Osprey myself , they are know for good customer service, and warranty all their products. This is the first time I have had a product of theirs be defective, and my gear takes a beating mountain biking.

> 3 dayBought from Amazon Services LLc. Didnt care for the product. It caused discomfort while wearing, was difficult to use, couldnt holster a bottle to save itself. Really wanted to love it, didnt. Returned. Specifically bought because I prefer bottles to wearable bladders but it just didnt work out. Upon return, Amazon did not refund money into credit card as requested, instead it went to a gift card. Further and while the product was in PERFECT condition upon return, we were assessed a 50% penalty and only refunded 25$. So ya, only 1/2 the money and now its not even in our bank account for us to use. Super disappointed with the product and downright pissed for it to have cost me 25$ to find out. Its a hard pass on the for any riding scenario. I cant say that Id even want to hike with it.

Greater than one weekI use this for mountainbikeing in the deep woods for rides 3 hrs usually in length. There are many streams, so i use a water filter bottle for my water and dont carry a bladder. Map in one side pocket, phone(camera) in other. Tools, gu and various stuff in main pocket. Very pleased with a dry(er) back.

Greater than one weekFelt I needed to write a review of this pack to clear up some of the reservations I had before purchasing it. A few one star reviews complain about the support straps that hold the water bottles in place and keep them from slipping out of the bottom. It seems these people are missing the snap buttons that make it accept the water bottles or if you unsnap them it lets the bag flatten out if you arent running any. If these buttons arent snapped the bottles would definitely slip past the strap. Snapped together and it makes a perfectly sized water bottle holder!

> 3 dayThis pack is great. I was using an Osprey stratos 34 and it was great for hiking but not so much for MTB. I went with this pack to carry my first aid, pump, folding knife, clif bar, keys, wallet, cell phone, zip ties and two 24oz polar bottles. I have added a small nite ize carabiner to attach my gloves and a section of bungee cord with a cord lock for a hard shell jacket. Can’t go wrong with Osprey and their unconditional lifetime warranty.

> 3 dayI had a lumbar pack with just one giant zip pocket made of a very light ripstop. It served very well, but one giant pocket made it hard to get to the small items I like to carry (chapstick, small pocketknife, nail file, pen) because theyd wiggle to the bottom every time. I am doing a lot of hiking and biking these days, so being able to carry a water bottle is very important. I like to keep gatorade in my bottles, so a bladder isnt really the best choice. I debated between the Savu and the bladder model of similar size, and ultimately decided to get this one. I wanted more zip compartments or pockets so I could organize my things better. I tried the bag the first time yesterday on an all-afternoon mountain biking trip with the family. I was very pleased with how everything worked. I loaded it up with two smaller water bottles, 3 granola/clif bars, my keys, a tissue pouch, my wallet, chapstick, nail file, pocket knife, smartphone, a printed map, a pen. There was still room for more stuff if Id needed a multitool, for example. Throughout the day I was able to locate my things without difficulty and the weight on my belt area was no trouble. Everything felt very secure. I tested the bag with two very large water bottles--1 Liter each, that fit into an ordinary bike cage. They fit just fine into the pockets, though they were tall enough to touch my back near my shoulder blades while standing. If Id been bent over in riding position they probably wouldnt have touched me, but I didnt need that much gatorade. The smaller bottles stayed put in the snap pockets and never tried to slip through, even when riding over some rough stuff. Overall, very pleased with the performance of the bag. It does exactly what I wanted.
