> 3 dayI found my backpack to be bothering in MTB rides especially when wanting to bunny hop and on the rough patches so I switched to this fanny pack. Enough storage for the short to medium rides without the weight on the back, also allot more ventilated in the summer! Whoever complained about the bottles falling out didnt notice that there are tictacs that you need to close in order for the water bottles to fit snug... Very happy!

> 3 dayI like the feature where I can keep protein bar in the small pockets on the belt on by right and left hip. It holds two water bottles. On more intense hikes, use the bottle lock-down pull tabs to secure your bottles. Main pouch holds a banana OR a folded rain coat. if you expect rain. If not bananas, power bars and some bike tools fit nicely. For longer hikes and rides over 25 miles I suggest an Osprey Talon 18 or 22 back pack or the womens versions which all have a cycle helmet attachment. Cool feature.

> 3 dayPack really doesn’t have much room compared to others I have had. The two side compartments are nice but also quite small. Secondly, full water bottles can slide past the singe supporting strap underneath. Looks as though what might help is a cross strap. The placement of the single strap seemed too far to one side and too narrow for the job. I understand there are some flimsy sort of elastic straps to hold the bottles from the top, but they won’t last long. I understand that every fanny pack is a design compromise. We want something that will carry even two full water bottles without them flopping around. Then there is the desire for room to carry phone, keys, wallet, snacks and a few other things. Anyway I have read some of the other reviews and am wondering if we are talking about the same pack. I did get the Mountainsmith Tour 9L lumbar pack. It held up well on a five hour hike. It carried a lot of stuff including two full water bottles. No they did not flop around. Yes it is a big and maybe even kind of ugly pack. I gave it away to someone else who loves it. It am giving up on fanny packs and sticking with my Osprey Dalite pack since it carries so much more than any fanny back and does it better. Everyone is different I suppose.

> 3 dayStorage capacity could be a bit better. Pack is a little stiff wrapping around waist.

> 3 dayThis is more like a hiking expedition fanny pack. It is humongous. It has lots of storage space for hydration as well as snacks, first aid gear, and other knick nacks.

> 3 dayThis pack is great. I was using an Osprey stratos 34 and it was great for hiking but not so much for MTB. I went with this pack to carry my first aid, pump, folding knife, clif bar, keys, wallet, cell phone, zip ties and two 24oz polar bottles. I have added a small nite ize carabiner to attach my gloves and a section of bungee cord with a cord lock for a hard shell jacket. Can’t go wrong with Osprey and their unconditional lifetime warranty.

> 3 dayThis is the first and only fanny pack Ill ever own. Storage capacity is fantastic and the price is right for what it is... Dont throw $80 - $100 at your local bike shop or some hot shot brand name for the same product!

Greater than one weekThis is the most comfortable waist pack Ive ever worn. Even with two full water bottles in it (which is what I got it for), it carries very well and doesnt get too sweaty. Honestly, my biggest gripe with it is that it has too much storage. I really just wanted a small fanny pack that could hold two water bottles for longer rides, but no one seems to make a minimalist lumbar pack that carries two bottles, so I got this one. Im very happy with it, but I would prefer a smaller cargo compartment, and I could do without the little zippered pockets on the hip straps.

> 3 dayWanted to like but decided to go with talon even though this was a better fit for biking. The flaw is in the bottle holder bottom that is not centered. its to one side and if you happen to push the bottom down a bit, it will fall off. what the heck ? osprey thinks through all their designs and i am willing to pay a bit more for well designed products. i am shocked this went through quality control. what did i miss ? Also wish they had a hook on the outside for attaching a bike pump maybe ?
