> 3 dayI liked the fact that it could hold 2 water bottles and keep the weight off of my back. On my first ride the straps continually needed to be tightened and then, on a decent, came completely off. The clips that close the belt came unclipped and everything hit the trail. Very disappointed in the product!

> 3 daySuper nice pack! A little on the small side, but that is what I wanted. Its enough for a few hours long hike with needed essentials. Very comfortable and really made well with high quality materials. I havent ridden with it yet, but its great for hiking.

> 3 dayI’ve been using my standard nalgene more often than smart water bottles despite the weight savings. I wanted a lumbar pack for hot Florida summer hiking and this seemed to fit the bill. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is because I anticipated more storage room but that’s not a deal breaker and honestly is more on me than the product. Still really comfortable and the quality that you expect from osprey

> 3 dayThis pack is awesome! I ride on at least 100 miles on my mountain bike a month and is everything you need when riding. I have an Osprey hydration backpack and I noticed on the downhill portions of my rides, I would have the pressure of everything in my pack weighted on my shoulders. This was a problem especially on longer rides. Many of my friends had the Dakine pack just like this one, but I have stuck with Osprey and they have never disappointed. This pack has lots of space. I ride with two water bottles, my phone, a multi-tool, two tubes, two CO2 cartridges, and a shop towel. All this fits in the pack and still has room for more. This pack is a great price, has lots of room, and everything you need for mountain biking.

> 3 dayI was a long time backpack wearer for mountain biking, they never really bothered me, but I decided to see what all the hip pack hype was about and try one. This thing is amazing! I was worried about it sliding down or feeling too tight around my waist, but none of that happened. I didnt notice it at all while riding, and I felt so much more free while riding. The lack of straps on your shoulders is well worth it along, not to mention the lower center of gravity. It holds plenty for a few hours of riding. I was able to get bottles in and out easily without stopping, but only on mellow terrain. A bit more organization pockets in the main storage pocket would be nice, but its fine as is. For only $40 this is an absolute steal and by far the best value on the market.

> 3 dayI bought this pack as an alternative to my backpack style hydration pack and have been extremely happy with it. My original intent was that I would use it for shorter rides, where me or my two kids might need an extra water bottle. I’ve found that this pack works really well even for those longer rides where I had originally thought I might need the backpack. Having the flexibility to share a bottle with other riders is really a big plus. The pack holds just the right amount of gear as well. For any given ride I have mine stocked with - small first aid kit - small air pump - multi tool - tire plugs and insertion tool - energy bloks and energy bar (side pockets are super easy to access while on the trail) - two water bottles - iPhone 11 - keys It fits well, stays in place even over rough sections of trail. The elastic straps that secure the top portion of each water bottle work really well. I don’t find myself thinking (or worrying) about the pack while riding. For my winter riding, I expect I’ll continue to use the backpack style. Primarily due to the additional storage capability for gloves, jackets etc... but for my spring and summer adventures the Osprey Savu has become my goto pack!
