The Ella Bella paraffin wax machine is awesome, very high quality and the seller is great. My concern when looking at wax machines was making sure I purchased one that was well made from a seller that will stand by their product. Love everything about this paraffin wax machine. This size tub is very generous and the lavender paraffin wax, that is included, is intoxicating. :) Very moisturizing & very soothing therapy. It is so comforting that I literally fall asleep for the 20min. session. I needed help with my arthritic fingers; which were causing me a lot of pain. This is highly recommended by doctors and really makes a difference in your joints. Ruth is very professional and runs a great family business. She answers all your questions in a timely manner. And also checks on how you are doing. I am so pleased with my purchase and would recommend this machine to everyone who has trouble with their joints. It works! This is a well built, inclusive wax bath. It comes with wax, plastic hand covers and two sets of terrycloth covers.

I use the wax unit after my Occupational Hand Therapist introduced me to the practice. I use the machine daily earlier in the morning to help me warm my hand before keyboarding for work. I did make the suggestion to replace the fingered plastic gloves that came with the unit with open fingerless plastic bags that you can put on faster in order to preserve as much heat as possible before sliding the fabric mittens over the plastic bags.

I know these are meant to make your hands soft, but they also work great for heat therapy. I work with my hands a lot so they often ache, and a wax treatment is a great way to make them feel better. This wax machine comes with everything you need, including the wax. It’s a nice lavender scent that isn’t too strong or overpowering. It didn’t take too long to heat the wax up, and you can reuse the wax if you want — just be sure you hands are really clean and exfoliated before dipping them in. This comes with the plastic gloves and you can get extras on amazon when those run out. The only reason I took a star off is because this one is quite a bit more expensive than others I’ve seen. It feels well made and is a good size, so I’ll definitely keep using it.
