Pelican continues to make quality products and charges a premium for them. This case is little different than the other Pelican products Ive purchased, though the latches on this one fit better than the last. Closing my other case was so difficult I shaved the plastic down a bit to close easier. This one performs as expected without modifications - just wish they were more affordable.

Here in the deep south, we have a screwed up weather pattern. Tornado Season From January to late Spring; Hurricane Season from Summer to mid fall; And then Tornado Season again till the end of the year.

This is my 4th Pelican case. I will not buy another brand. These thing are indestructible, water tight, and lockable. I write my name and address on the outside with a white Sharpie and it stays readable for years. If you are a SCUBA diver this is the perfect size for a save-a-dive kit.

An excellent product. Have bought another of the same model. This color was very pretty and is almost camouflaged in sandy areas

Perfect for what I needed. Roomy, I put two pistols and 2 boxes of ammo and still have room.

The 1300 replaces my ancient 30cal ammo box that Ive used for decades for personal items (rubber seal has cracked, no longer a tight seal). Im trying to replace all metal boxes used on my raft. The 1300 has a comfortable handle, and holds various day items (sunscreen, gloves, aspirin, sunglasses, tools, etc.) easily.
