> 3 dayThe Pelican cases are very reliable and protective to valuable but delicate items. Im using this 1300 case to store and transport my US$600 SIGMA macro lens.

Greater than one weekI have a bigger Pelican case that fits several lenses and my flashes, but decided I needed a smaller one that would take 1 body, 2 lenses and a flash. This came in handy on my recent trip to Nicaragua where my family enjoyed surfing. The case protected my camera from the elements which was the salt spray, sand and lots of dust.....where we stayed there was an insane amount of dust as the roads arent paved. I was able to toss the case into the back of our truck and not worry about my camera being damaged.

> 3 dayI use these cases to hold super magnets from United Nuclear. They are very, very well built and exceedingly tough. Foam is easy to customize to fit whatever you have.

> 3 dayI bought this case a few weeks ago to safely store my collection of folding knives. I was thinking about getting the Pelican 1500 but it is much larger and more expensive than the 1300 and when filled with knives, the 1500 would be very heavy. The 1300 case is great because of its depth of just over 6 which is perfect for storing my knives in 3 rows top to bottom and 9 knives across in each row, 27 in total. The foam was easy to pick out and I used the same configuration and removed the same amount from each of the two layers. Dare I say removing the foam was actually fun and I decided to save it in a bag in case I need to put some back.

> 3 dayLooked a lot bigger than in person. About the side of 2 Kleenex boxes side by side just for reference.

> 3 dayI am very happy with my purchase of this Pelican Case. I bought it specifically for storing my DSLR with two lenses, an extra battery and picture card, and my iPhone for quick pictures. I bought two sizes and shipped the other one back. I love how these cases come with plenty of firm foam that pulls apart in sections so you can customize the protection you want. The case kept water out completely, even with big forceful splashes. I attached the case with a carabiner to some tight straps on the raft, and I could easily access my camera this way, just snapped the lid open during flat water stretches to carefully take the camera out. Highly recommended!
