> 24 hourHue lights in a normal bulb size. Look great and gen 3 bulbs are really good. Hue lights are by far the best smart bulb system on the market today

> 24 hourThe bulbs are not as bright as I would like at times. And they are way too expensive. Other than that, I like the options they provide and the hues obtainable. Did I mention that their products are far too expensive?

> 24 hourThis is pretty good! I bought these for my mothers home so she could get her first Smart Home experience with her Amazon Echo. So far Ive tried out a few different RGB lights, and the Hue is the best yet. I found the set up easy, the pairing worked effortlessly, and the Android app works wonderfully. The Echo can turn these off and on and set brightness based on the Room groups you create in the app, or even independent bulbs. The app worked reliably and the color changes were set quick and easy as I could expect. I was able to pair my phone, and her phone, and her Samsung tablet to the hub without trouble. Over all the lights are nice. The color is great, 3rd gen is the charm with every color emitted being very close to what I picked in-app. I saw no flicker when dimming, or while dimmed, and the bulbs updated with the new settings within a second. They even fit in a lamp that has that wire loop that clips to bulb. Now the cons: The hub is actually just a bridge in networking parlance. You can use it to control lights, but as I did some digging it cannot hub a complete ZigBee network. So if you want other smart home devices like smart in-wall switches (to control your conventional lights), sensors, alarms, or plugs or whatever you are gonna have look for another hub to mainline your network. That said the Hue hub is reported to play nice and work as a bridge with the likes of Samsungs SmartThings hub (which functions much more like a router establishes a WiFi network.) *The reset button is on the back of the hub, meaning if you mount it, you have remove it should you ever need to run a reset. *I found the lights a little dim. 800 lm is not a lot of brightness and sadly Phillips doesnt make a brighter Hue bulb yet. It would be great to have 75 and 100 watt equivalent bulbs. *Lastly, price. The kit is a good value, but the stand alone RGB bulbs are only sold in sets of one and at a pretty eye-watering price for a bulb. So if you want to, for example, outfit a 12 light chandelier with RGBs its going to probably cost as much as the fixture itself. It would be really nice if Phillips would sell sets at a discounted unit price. There is definitely no doubt about it, this is a luxury product at this early adopter phase.

> 24 hourThey work great! One of the only downsides is how irritating the first time setup process is. But after thats completed theyre amazing, we use them with our google homes making them very convenient. A great gift and all around a great product.

> 24 hourThe Phillips Hue concept deserves 5 stars (maybe 6). However, they have so many awesome hue products, that one easily starts to exceed the maximum capability of the hue bridge - which is roughly 50 lights/controls. If you have an apartment - you probably wont exceed that, but I have a 2000 square foot home and have 70 hue devices and am patiently awaiting a release of a hue bridge 3.0 or 4.0. Currently, all the bulbs are now 3rd Generation which provided richer colors. BUT the hue bridge that is being sold in multipacks or alone is only the 2nd Generation bridge. They have not updated the bridge for 3 years. Ive contacted hue and they said that in the current 2nd Generation Bridge - the memory of that device is what is limiting its ability to control more than 50-ish devices. At some time they will come out with a new bridge that can handle more, but theyve been saying sometime for a year now. Literally. One would have thought when they came out with their outdoor product line that they would realize that many people are not exceeding the 50 device limit of the generation 2 bridge. In the meantime, you can purchase an Amazon Echo Plus to control Phillips Hue and there doesnt seem to be a limit (that I can reach anyway) with using an Amazon Echo Plus to act as your hue bridge. HOWEVER - there is not a smartphone interface that will work to control Phillips Hue using an Echo, as there are several wonderful 3rd party APPs that you can use to do amazing things with Philips Hue - but those unfortunately are designed for the hue bridge to control the lights, not Amazon Echo - so again you are limited to 50 devices. Furthermore -for some reason, the Amazon Echo has poorer light color quality than the hue bridge. Ive used the Phillips Bridge and the Amazon Echo plus to control the same generation 3 hue bulbs, and the hue bridge can create very deep colors - a rich blue for example, but the Amazon Echo plus creates a lighter blue that is not as rich or deep. Phillips - please GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!!! I would guess after 3 years, the cost of memory chips would have decreased such that you could put 2-3 times the amount of memory in these bridges for the same cost as the generation two design in 2015, let alone pay a nominal additional cost to have enough memory to drive 200 devices. Again, I have a 2000 square foot home and after you upgrade your bridges, Ill install outdoor hue products and probably have 100-120 connected devices. Some of these 3000 square foot homes people have - they could easily get up to 200 devices if they were so inspired. Amazon customers: Phillips Hue (and many 3rd part applications) are truly awesome - but it becomes addictive and you could quickly get to the frustrating point of the generation 2 bridge reaching capacity. Dont be fooled by Phillips Hues marketing of Generation 3 Bulbs... .that is true but they still are only making a Generation 2 bridge which is the brains of everything.

> 24 hourFairly well. Smart but not bright enough. I have setup alternate non smart LED lights which are much brighter when I need more light in the room.

> 24 hourI love this product. The colors and dimming are spectacular. Plus, when I was adding light bulbs, it let me use my GE Link Bulbs. That was an awesome addition.
