Yes, its hard to swallow the price of this card, and it would be nice if it didnt have to be imported to the US, but that being said, I am EXTREMELY happy to have it. I really like the idea of going all-digital for many reasons, like 1. dont have to take extra time to shuffle around game cards if you want to switch out games when youre on the go, 2. dont have to find space to carry all the extra cards when traveling, 3. environmentally friendly, 4. load times seem to be more forgiving with some titles, and 5. with some patience, I have largely been able to find digital sales for games that well exceed physical sale prices. I had been juggling two 8g cards since the launch of the Vita Slim (pain in the culo), and since that time I have saved so much money on digital sales, I decided to grab a 64g card. Shortly after, I was gifted a one-year PS+ subscription, and am stoked to have this card now for the IGL as well as for the PSP and PSOne library titles. I have 41 games on this card and still have over 25g to spare. I would also say that for the current price of a 32g card, it made more sense to me to pay the little bit extra for the 64g card. So, something else to think about there, because I dont think Ill be hurting for space any time soon. I havent had any issues at all with this card and transferring data or recognizing content. The shipping was very fast (much faster than the estimated time by weeks). I really cant think of any reason for a Vita owner not to have this card, ESPECIALLY if they are a PS+ subscriber.

If you are into Digital games for your PS Vita then this card is a must. I have around 29 games in it and I coulnt be happier, no more lost game cartridges. The card also works with the Play Station TV if you have one. Overall This helps maintain a clean look on the Vita and reduce clutter. The Biggest CON is the Damn price, while a regular SD Card of the same size is far less expensive.

Sony has always had a love affair with its own proprietary storage. So it wasnt a surprise to anyone that their new PS Vita would require more of their proprietary cards. (I honestly believe that they make more off these cards than they do the actual games) I originally purchased an 8 GB card with my Vita, and that soon got filled up thanks to PSNs instant game collection. I went ahead and purchased the 64 GB card and Im happy to say that it works great on the Vita... The only reason that I didnt give it five stars is obviously for the price... $100... its half the price of the Vita itself.

I couldnt find a 64gb in the us as its only available in japan so i was happy that i could order it from amazon happy with the product, though i wish sony would learn from their mistakes and make a new device with standard memory and chargers from the beginning

I will say only to be careful with this product. As the most expensive of the memory cards and the most spacious you will be tempted to just download and remove stuff all the time from it, causing some to have a corrupted download that could brick the memory card but leave your system itself okay. It can happen with any download and because I did so frequently, mine died after 8 months of use. Still for its price vs Space this is well worth it. Just be sure you keep some back ups and dont end up like I will having to start most of my games over again when I get a new card that is cheaper should this happen again.

While the card itself is wonderful, I find the pricing to be quite excessive. The Vita has an expansive digital-only library (including all of the PS1 classics available on PSN), and having this card is almost a must-have for die hard Vita gamers. Odds are, it will fill up eventually, because there are many full retail games out there that take up quite a bit of space if you download them (Final Fantasy X/X-2 for example, take up over 10gb alone). Add to that the fact that many games coming out that are full-release in Japan (such as Warriors Orochi 3, Sword Art Online, and Freedom Wars) are getting digital-only releases in the US, and the 64gb doesnt go nearly as far as one would hope. Despite all this, the product works as expected, and allows access to dozens of games without switching cards or carts. A small side note: As many other reviewers have mentioned, the ACTUAL space on the card is 59gb, and as another reviewer explained that this discrepancy arises due to a difference in binary and metric measuring, and is a common practice when labeling storage space. _____________________ *Pros* -Best price-to-gb ratio -Plenty of space for smaller games (PS1/PSP/minis) -Easy to use (pop it in and youre good to go) -No more cart/card switching for a while. *Cons* -Prohibitively expensive -Full releases will fill up the card fast -Less storage than advertised

Considering your Vitas library will consist of mostly digital downloads in 2019 you will definitely want the biggest memory card option out there. It was simple to install and mine is working flawlessly with no issues. I have seen that some people reported that there are 2 models of this memory card. I received the Japanese version that is advertised (PCH-Z641J) and it works perfectly fine in my U.S. unit. At 80+ bucks it is expensive considering you can get an sd card with 4 times as much memory for the price but, sometimes you just gotta pay to play. Would definitely recommend to anybody looking to expand their game library or just needs more storage for music/movies.

This is the the biggest available memory card on the market. Yes, its expensive. Yes, its proprietary. Yes, its not available in the USA yet. If you really must have a PS Vita memory card, and plan to download games, whether they be PS1 classics or full PS Vita games, this is the card for you. It is currently compatible with both the North American PS Vita and PS Vita Slim. Copying information from your old memory card to this one is as easy as plugging your PS Vita with the old memory card into your PC and selecting memory management in the PS Vita options. Create a backup, then plug the new memory card in, restore the backup to the new memory card. No hassle. This same process can be completed using your PS3 or PS4 as well.

I have a new US PS Vita (slim) and this card works just fine as it is the official Sony card and the only thing that reliably works well to my knowledge. The actual card casing and instructions are written in Korean but using the card is self-explanatory. The card is extremely small so be careful placing it in your Vita the first time. I highly recommend going for the 64 GB because then you never have to really worry about memory or switching in and out cards which does not work well on the Vita. The vita will prompt you to format the new card and transfer everything on your internal memory card to this external one the first time you place it in. You may want to note that you cannot use both the internal and external at the same time. This card will permanently become your new memory. Once the card is in and formatted the downloading may begin. You can go ahead and start downloading everything from your download list and you can also use the cloud storage if you have a PS+ subscription. This allows you to bring in all your previous saves so you wont lose any progress with the transfer.

If you own a PS Vita, you know those 4, 8 and 16GB memory cards most retail stores have are good for just about nothing, and very expensive to boot. How is a 16GB memory card over $50 a fair price when I can get a 64GB micro SD card for under that most places? The reality is, there is no third party making these memory cards, so our (evil) friends at Sony are the only game in town, and can charge whatever the hell they think well put up with. Since retail price on that is a joke, the only way to go, in my opinion, is to find someone online who sells these 64GB cards that are for some reason only available in Japan, because f*** the USA, I guess. Youll be paying around $100, give or take, no matter where you go, so I recommend doing what I did, and find a seller here on Amazon that sells these on this side of the world, and also has prime shipping available so you can wait two days for it to arrive, instead of two weeks. Its expensive, no doubt, but far less expensive than carrying around a pocket full of inferior memory cards.

This is a memory card for Play Station Vita that can be used to store saved data, downloaded games, additional content, videos, music, still images, and various other content. This item is used. Memory card body only. The case and manual are not included.
