While the card itself is wonderful, I find the pricing to be quite excessive. The Vita has an expansive digital-only library (including all of the PS1 classics available on PSN), and having this card is almost a must-have for die hard Vita gamers. Odds are, it will fill up eventually, because there are many full retail games out there that take up quite a bit of space if you download them (Final Fantasy X/X-2 for example, take up over 10gb alone). Add to that the fact that many games coming out that are full-release in Japan (such as Warriors Orochi 3, Sword Art Online, and Freedom Wars) are getting digital-only releases in the US, and the 64gb doesnt go nearly as far as one would hope. Despite all this, the product works as expected, and allows access to dozens of games without switching cards or carts. A small side note: As many other reviewers have mentioned, the ACTUAL space on the card is 59gb, and as another reviewer explained that this discrepancy arises due to a difference in binary and metric measuring, and is a common practice when labeling storage space. _____________________ *Pros* -Best price-to-gb ratio -Plenty of space for smaller games (PS1/PSP/minis) -Easy to use (pop it in and youre good to go) -No more cart/card switching for a while. *Cons* -Prohibitively expensive -Full releases will fill up the card fast -Less storage than advertised

Incredible. I recently purchased a PS Vita (North American unit) over the last week for $100 and it only came with a 4GB memory card. I found out immediately that this was inadequate as the game I wanted to play required at least 5GB for an expansion (Phantasy Star Online 2). Instead of buying the next highest capacity card, I figured why not check and see what the maximum capacity is? Lets check out Amazon... And well, the rest is history. This 64GB card was priced just right and had enough space for just about everything I could think of. As Im typing this I have full games and demos all downloading on the Vita, and soon Ill be able to play a myriad of games without concern of whether or not there will be space available. I say go for it if you have the cash, max out your storage and play worry-free!

The space vs. price trade off is debatable. Yes you do get a ton of storage space for games, videos, etc and should technically never needed another memory card again (unless you download EVERYTHING). But the damn thing costs half of what the console itself it does. Plus you have to have it imported and wait days or week or even months depending on the vendor/shipping methods. As with any Memory Card, actual available space is 59GB NOT 64GB. But considering the other options 8GB (standard in most retailers), 16GB (not as common to find), and the 32GB (extremely rare to find, did SONY stop making these? ran out? emptied out available supply? did not expect people to buy these?), cant complain. The memory card is the released in Japan only 64GB card (theres a Hon Kong version floating around, not sure if that one is legit), BUT its universal and region free and will work on any PS Vita. I have a US 3G/Wifi Vita and the memory card worked without a hitch. I had an 8GB and ran out of space within a week. I tried to get a 32GB at local retailers and no one had it. Searched online and the prices where insane, almost about the same for a 32GB as it was with the 64GB. As of the time of review, I have 13 apps, 12 Vita games, 8 PS Ones, and 9 PSP games downloaded and installed and still have 32.9GB left. Pros - Space. 59GB NOT 64GB (As is the case with any memory card). - Universal and region free, plug it in the memory card slot and start saving - Minimal packaging. Cons - Price. REALLY Expensive, anywhere between $100.00 to $200.00 depending on the vendor. But considering youll have enough space for everything, pretty much debatable. - Packaging not in English. This is more so in case the card doesnt work or something goes wrong. But you can always return to vendor within the refund period.

This is the biggest PS Vita card that I could find. It has excellent storage capacity for those who like to carry a high volume of games and music at a time. According to my content manager on the Vita the actual storage space of the card is 59gb, which isnt what they claim (it never is), but I have over 30 full games and over 60 full music albums along with 200 individual songs on it and my card isn’t even half full yet. Long story short: if you need or like being able to carry lots of data and don’t like having to switch out cards all the time, this is the card for you… until a larger capacity card comes along.

If you are into Digital games for your PS Vita then this card is a must. I have around 29 games in it and I coulnt be happier, no more lost game cartridges. The card also works with the Play Station TV if you have one. Overall This helps maintain a clean look on the Vita and reduce clutter. The Biggest CON is the Damn price, while a regular SD Card of the same size is far less expensive.

Its expensive, but if you use your PS Vita a lot then a 64GB card is definitely worth considering. Moving straight to this from a 4GB card it felt like a whole new world. Lol I now have all of my music (roughly sixteen albums) saved to my Vita (I suggest using a program like Freemake to shrink file size significantly), ten minutes worth of videos, most of my pictures, two cartridge based games, twenty five digital games (including two classic PlayStation games: Dino Crisis 2 and Harvest Moon: Back To Nature), and ten demos on my card, and I still have 42GB remaining. So yeah, this memory goes a long way. Simply put if you buy games for your Vita often, plan to buy several over the course of its lifetime, or are a PS+ member and download the games it comes with, then you need to consider buying a 64GB memory card. Its a steep price but its worth it since you wont have to worry about another card for a long time, if ever.

As a release day owner of my Vita, I started out with the 8g card. With few games at the time this wasnt really a big deal. I soon jumped up to the 16g and stuck it out there because I didnt want to pay so much more for the 32g. Now with a larger library of games, especially those with PS Plus subscriptions and other downloaded games available I really didnt want to wait any longer. I was a bit hesitant at first to import the 64g card since they are only available in Japan. Sony hasnt released them in the US (which boggles the mind) and at first some of the price gouging on them was insane. After waiting a bit for the price to drop I took the plunge. The 64GB card has gotten a lot of bad reviews. Why? Not because of a faulty item, but because of price. I can understand this as I hesitated for a long time before purchasing any card bigger than the 8GB. Its also understandable as many sellers were significantly price gouging when these were first released in Japan. Consumers want Sony to know they are unhappy with the choice to keep us locked to purchasing their memory. Yes, Sony has made a smart move to lock consumers in. Now that the new version of the Vita is out, its pretty obvious it isnt going to change. There is no reason to keep a smaller number of games, music, and videos on your Vita if you really dont have to. The price is considerable, but its the best bang for your buck. If you purchase any of the smaller cards youre ending up paying more in the long run even when they are on sale. (Black Friday/Cyber Monday included) Yes, it WILL work on your US Vita. These cards are not region locked. I have a US Launch Vita and it works just fine. Keep in mind youll need to format it when it arrives, at least I needed to. This card will display as being 59GB, when it fact it is 64GB. Its just how the memory is measured, it doesnt mean the memory is faulty or anything like that. As other reviewers have agreed its a common business practice with memory and its nothing to be concerned about. Just a heads up as Ive read a lot of people are confused and even angered by it.. but its just how memory works. Backing up your Vita and then moving everything over to the new card is simple. Just connect it to your computer, backup/restore and youre good to go. I for one like physical copies of games. Call me old school but I like having a product I can hold. Thats not to say I dont have plenty of downloadable titles as well (Final Fantasy, Walking Dead, PS Plus freebies..etc). I have pretty much every title I own on my Vita right now with room to spare and that feels good. To re-iterate there are no plans to bring this card to the US as of yet. It was initially announced about its release in Japan last November 2013. So if youre waiting for it to come out here, dont bother. I got this for a decent price with Prime. It arrived quickly, safely and in new condition. Ive had no issues with it and love the fact that I have so much space available. If youre a Vita junkie like me you cant go wrong here. Dont sell yourself short purchasing a 32GB card that wont save you money in the end. Purchase from a trusted seller and give your Vita some freedom. Hate on Sony for smart business practice but in the end the product does work. Pros: Isnt Region locked. 59GB, plenty of space for your favorite games, music, movies, etc. Easy to install and use. Cons: Price.

This memory card was an upgrade for me from a 32GB card. It has had no issues so Im pleased with it so far. The extra space is such a relief, due to all those wonderful PlayStation Plus games offered in the past year or 2. Interesting note: If you use Content Manager on PC, you might want to uninstall/reinstall it so that it doesnt get that error where it says you have 2 PS Vita systems being used at the same time. It seems to register a new memory card as another PS Vita system. That was the only slight problem I had, but it was fixable by reinstalling the program and updating the library for it.

Unfortunate as it is that Sony opted for proprietary memory cards on the PS Vita, this memory card has served me well and holds dozens of PS Vita / PS1 games. This is considerably a better option than a MicroSD adaptor if you have physical Vita games, as the adaptors plug in to where physical games go.
