I first bought a different model mouse, same brand. But I missed having the thumb rest. So i returned it and got this one and I am so very happy with it. I use it for general computer use but also gaming. I love the software and how I can set up my different games. I love the color selection which I dont really use but it is cool you can change the colors. I also find the clutch to be very cool option.

The size is perfect. Ive used over 20 mice including the top G-Pro, SteelSeries Rival series, DeathAdder Elite, Zowie, you name it... this is by far my favorite. I was skeptical about the shape at first, but man its comfortable and grown on me. My problem with other similar ones such as Logitechs G502, was that it was too bulky and buttons felt cheap. This one is perfect, along with its weight, and its just smooth/accurate. I mainly play CS:GO, PUBG, and Overwatch at high levels. Great mouse, and super underrated. If you like the G-Pro size, or G502, then you will love this.

Ive been using this mouse to replace my Naga Trinity. First, let me start by saying that this mouse is very comfortable. The thumb rest feels comfortable, yet grabs a grip when you need it to. It also feels very responsive, especially when Im playing Rainbow Six Siege. My only confusion is Ive had this mouse for less then a few months, and that rubber where my thumb rests is already beginning to come off the plastic frame. Not a huge deal, some gorilla glue will take care of that just fine, but a little concerning that its already beginning to peel just after a few months of use. I expect a little better durability from a $70 gaming mouse, Razer.

Im not sure I feel the same as everyone who raves about this mouse. I am a fingertip grip PC FPS gamer foremost which came from using a Logitech G500 for so many years to count. Ultimately there is a specific type of form for people who finger tip grip and this mouse definitely has the feel and the finish. I loved the clean design language and the quality of the material. The rubber side molding feels great to hold and the entire mouse has a light weight good quality exterior finish. People say the mouse is heavy for a competitive mouse just over 100 grams at 107-8g but to me honestly; Im a bigger guy who lifts a bit at 511 -220lb with pretty decent medium-large hands with slightly long fingers. So this mouse felt almost too light and too small. When I move the mouse it is with my finger tips attached like a claw like grip but ultimately a lot of grip comes from the palm of my hand resting on the mouse. Ultimately my palm has trouble touching this mouse in my grip and makes it harder to control because the mouse is too small. Moving onto software: Synapse 2.0 didnt recognize this mouse so I couldnt utilize the drivers unit synapse 3.0 came out. While it Works the program is FAR from finished and definitely needs some more polish. Mechanically this mouse has some great clicks. The buttons are very responsive and crisp in a Razer fashion. The mechanical buttons are very tactile in their mechanism and always give a great feed back for a good sounding click, the sensor is very good and I cant even get it to spin out and lose itself when I swipe the mouse across. Definitely has a great sensor as Razers most current mouse. The mouse wheel has a resistance adjust that is cool but, it still feels kinda cheap and lackluster compared to a logitech with infinite scroll. Design (Which is very subjective) to me as a designer I very much appreciated the product design of this mouse. Lines are lining up with certain design elements and the aesthetic is pure and simple sculpture without randomness. Everything is graphically very organized and its currently my favorite LOOKING mouse on the market. I just wished it fit my hand. Ultimately if youre a smaller person who can wield a lighter mouse then this is pretty perfect. I think for me next Ill be onto trying a Logitech g903 or G502 and a Razer Deathadder for a bigger size person.

I would recommend this mouse to anyone looking to get into gaming of any kind. Its smooth, the grip is amazing, and just feels natural for my hand. Even the software is easy to use and the customizations are simple and clean. The only issue I had with this mouse was my ring and pinky finger when gaming. When playing intense games like fortnite, cs: go, or overwatch, all of the dragging can be uncomfortable on the overhanging fingers. If they could make this mouse have a finger rest on the right side, this mouse would be FLAWLESS.

Okay, here are my impressions after the first day. As a mouse, this thing functions fantastic. The buttons are clicky the scroll wheel resistance can be adjusted, there are two extra programmable buttons on the side, and then there is the DPI clutch. Oh my. This baby basically allows you to have instant access to two different mouse sensitivity settings all the time. So you set it by default to one sensitivity, and then you can set the sensitivity of the mouse with the clutch depressed separately as another sensitivty. This makes fine tuned precision clicking in games like league a blast because you have so much control. I like using this mouse a lot but it only gets 4 starts because of razer. They try and force you to give all your info, for warranty purposes yes but also to even use all the features of the mouse. They prompt you to install the razer stnapse 3 software and then you have to make an account etc etc. Well nope not me. The mouse is still very usable however on the deffault settings. Just plug it in, refuse to download their software, and you get RGB rainbow color glow and the DPI clutch sensitivity set to the lowest default mouse setting. Then you can toggle mouse sensitivity to medium or high by default and then it shifts to low with the clutch pressed in. This works great for me. Without the synapse software though, you lose the ability to pick and customize the rgb colors and you give up have 5 toggleable mouse settings profiles. Were it not for this, I would give 5 stars. But I got this mouse cheap enough these things dont bother me. The mouse itself is great.

I had to replace my Steel Series Rival as it finally gave up the ghost. I decided to go with the Razer Basilisk. Well, the Basilisk feels nice, but its not as long as my Rival was. The Rival fit my palm better, but dont get me wrong, the Basilisk is still very comfortable, and I like its rubber grips better than the Rival. I love the DPI choke. You can hold it for some slow and precise mouse movement, and release to go back to your normally set dpi. My only wish is that the Basilisk retained its settings without having to open Synapse. The Rival did this, just set it and never have to open the settings program again (even between PCs). But hey, the Basilisk is still a great mouse, and Im happy with it.

So for starters, I am not much of a PC gamer. I bought this mouse for the way it looks and the RGB functionality. Also, I really like the button placement. It feels great in my hand. No unnecessary buttons on the side that I accidentally click. I like the cord it comes with (braided but not too thick). The Razer Synapse/Chroma software is not too difficult to use but still confusing (I paired it with my Phillips HUE bridge but had difficulty getting the settings just right. One of my Hue bulbs wouldnt light up at times but Im not sure if it was the softwares fault or mine for not knowing how to use it). I also like the idea of the DPI clutch even though I doubt I will ever use it much. The only problem that really annoys me is that you cannot save Lighting Profiles/Settings to the Mouses internal memory. So I set up the color I wanted and I thought this is the perfect mouse! but shortly after I power cycled my computer it started to do the Rainbow mode on the mouse even though I set it to a static color and even saved the profile to the mouses internal memory. So basically if the Razer software isnt running the mouse is not going to be displaying the RGB pattern you chose. So when I boot up my computer it is stuck in rainbow mode till the software loads. This really annoys me. I thought it was implied that the hardware profiles would store this info so if I migrated my mouse to another system or didnt have the Razer software running the RGBs would behave like I wanted them to. Pros -Beautiful design -Button placement -Nice RGB -Adjustable scroll wheel resistance -Comfortable Cons -Color profiles do not work unless Razer software is running.

I love the razer mouse Death Adder Elite series. The Basilisk series came out and I had to try it, The tension control on the scroll wheel makes it nice so you dont over spin wile switching weapons in my FPP games, the extra button for whatever you want to use it for makes things easy so you have one less key on your keyboard worry about. What I dont like is its size. I have big hands with long fingers and it does not feel natural in my hand like the Death Adder. When Im in game my grip just dont feel right seems to throw me off my game ,feels to small. It would be cool if Razer could build the next model based off the Death Adder and little bigger to. All and all Im still happy with the performance.

Take your FPS skills to the next level with the Razer Basilisk. Boasting the most advanced optical sensor in the world and armed with features such as a dial for customizing scroll wheel resistance and a removable DPI clutch, the Razer Basilisk is the ultimate FPS gaming mouse. Outfitted with Razer most advanced 5G Optical sensor with true 16, 000 DPI, the Razer Basilisk gives you unrivaled precision and Performance.
