Greater than one weekIts a very nice mouse, as one would expect from the price tag. However in my experience it will not last a long time. After a few months of use, the left click became unreliable, particularly when trying to drag something (the mouse unclicks and reclicks while the button is continuously held down). Razer earned a star back for fantastic customer service, paying for shipping both ways and supplying me with a new mouse. Unfortunately, once again after a few months of use Im having the same problem, which renders the mouse useless. Also, the mouse software is absolute garbage spyware which I refuse to install. You can still use the mouse without it, but a lot of the fancy features are lost. Most obnoxiously, it is impossible to turn off the LEDs on the mouse without the spyware installed.

> 3 dayI would recommend this mouse to anyone looking to get into gaming of any kind. Its smooth, the grip is amazing, and just feels natural for my hand. Even the software is easy to use and the customizations are simple and clean. The only issue I had with this mouse was my ring and pinky finger when gaming. When playing intense games like fortnite, cs: go, or overwatch, all of the dragging can be uncomfortable on the overhanging fingers. If they could make this mouse have a finger rest on the right side, this mouse would be FLAWLESS.

Greater than one weekThe overall feel of this mouse is nice, but its held back by some hard-to-ignore flaws. The sides of the mouse are smooth rubber which feels awful and is impossible to keep from feeling greasy, no matter how often you clean it. My wife has a Razer mouse and the rubber wore away in less than a year, which I expect to happen here — I wouldnt have ordered it if I knew the size and smoothness of the rubber. Additionally, the mouse wheel click is incredibly sensitive and happens often when scrolling the wheel. Razers keyboard and mouse software borders on bloatware, and is incredibly intrusive and a pain to use. For all it does, it still wont boot your system with the LED settings youve saved so you have to tolerate the obnoxious default rainbow setting until the OS loads Razer Synapse. Coming from a Logitech G500 (which is no longer sold, unfortunately) this mouse doesnt really stack up. The rubber texture is hard to get past and the software is too much.

> 3 dayGreat mouse! My old Mamba TE died on me so I decided to try something new, and Im glad I did! This mouse is super comfortable to use and nice and small for my smaller hands. Id not recommend this for people with huge hands unless you use claw grip though. The buttons are very responsive and very nice, and I love the sensitivity adjustment on the scroll wheel. I wish it had tilt-clicks on the scroll wheel, but thats not a huge deal. The RGB is really nice. I wish it had it in some other places though because it gets mostly covered up by your hand. Again, not a huge concern. The thumb rest is very comfortable and the rubberized grip is really nice. The two extra buttons are very nice and easy to access, and the thumb paddle is great for push-to-talk or any other useful on the fly button you may want to use. Overall, a great purchase!

> 3 dayI replaced my Logitech G502 with this mouse after it died on me, and I have no regrets. This is an excellent mouse. It’s comfortable, sleek design, lights are nice and bright (but you can change the brightness if it’s too much), and the cord is braided which is a nice feature of wired Razer products. It feels just like the G502, maybe even better. The side DPI change button (for sniper aiming in FPS games) is such a nice feature. You can also change the resistance of the scroll button if you want it more rigid or smooth gliding. The thumb rest feels comfortable and not in an awkward spot. Although, I do have small hands so I can’t say the same for everyone. My only complaint is that when I received the item, the bottom of the box was torn and bent, which made me worry a bit. Though when I got the mouse out of the box, there were no visible signs of breakage or scratches or anything missing. The mouse is still working fine. Overall, I would definitely recommend this mouse to anyone who might’ve had the Logitech G502 and are looking for a replacement or just simply in the market for a nice and comfortable mouse for gaming or just simple computer work. For those who are worried about the Razer Synapse 3 which comes with this mouse, I haven’t had any problems with it crashing. I believe it is still in beta, so I will update this review if I run into any problems regarding the software.

> 3 dayI bought this mouse after my Razer Deathadder started having the dreaded double-click issue that Razer is famous for (look this up on google if you do not know what it is because it will be the biggest factor for you in buying this mouse). After owning this mouse for over 6 months, the Basilisk is also now having the double-click issue. It will randomly double click instead of single click when using it, which is incredibly frustrating for anything you are doing. I am very disappointed since this is an important factor in a mouse. The product looks great and the lights are a great feature, but if the mouse cannot accomplish its basic needs for mouse clicking, we have a giant problem.

> 3 dayThe software allows you to make small changes in DPI and to adjust all buttons to anything you want them to do. You can also adjust the colors to do some fun effects when you click or move. I would recommend this to anyone who likes gaming. Use the side mouse buttons to free up your fingers on the left hand. I am now leaning left and right with the mouse thumb in PubG and its really helping me move and adjust faster.

> 3 dayHonestly finally found a good mouse that i can work with without heating up my hand and use for a prolong time with comfort. For me logitech G502 has been my daily for autocad/fiber design/gaming but the basilisk just took its spot. Ive tried/use the mx master, G900 (which i use for my laptop) & razer uruborus, deathadder, G502 for the office and some generic brands..The aesthetics is not all there compared to the logitech mouses ive used but the smoothness, ergonomics, and the coated material makes it suitable for my everyday needs.Never thought my G502 could be replaced and quite shocked it did just that.

> 3 dayI have been using this mouse for about a year and nine months now, and at first, it worked well. However, after a couple of months, it kept getting ejected, so I had to unplug it from my PC and reconnect again. I had never had that problem with other mice. I even tried a different mouse for extended periods to see if the problem was with my operating system, but that was not the case. Theres something off about this mouse in terms of its driver software. For the past several weeks, the scroll wheel stopped working properly as well. It keeps getting stuck in one direction (either scrolling up or down). At first, I thought there was something wrong with the scroll resistance adjuster, but the scroll wheel kept getting stuck at different resistance settings. Its a descent mouse, but dont expect it to last a long time, and you may get weird behavior from it.

> 3 dayLove this thing but not a fan of Razor Synapse. I was using a DeathAdder but it broke on me so found this and love that I can change the paddle switch to what ever I want. For most games I set to R for reload but it just depends on what I am playing. I have a medium to large hand and it fits really well. I would still give the fitting to DeathAdder but love the paddle switch more.
