I wish it was a little wider, with my last two fingers hanging off my hand will start cramping after too long, but I realize most gaming mice are like this. The reason for 4 star is cause the grip under the thumb keeps popping up, as it it wasn’t taped down as good. This has happened since day one, gets annoying in the middle of a game when it pops ups

Ive had this mouse for roughly 5 years now. Out of all the options that Ive tried this one has never been beaten in reliability. It fits large hands well, and has enough weight to be able to feel the quality of the components. Overall a great product! Although its wireless newer counter parts, the Basilisk X, Ultimate, and Hyperspeed variants kinda sucked in comparison.

Im not sure I feel the same as everyone who raves about this mouse. I am a fingertip grip PC FPS gamer foremost which came from using a Logitech G500 for so many years to count. Ultimately there is a specific type of form for people who finger tip grip and this mouse definitely has the feel and the finish. I loved the clean design language and the quality of the material. The rubber side molding feels great to hold and the entire mouse has a light weight good quality exterior finish. People say the mouse is heavy for a competitive mouse just over 100 grams at 107-8g but to me honestly; Im a bigger guy who lifts a bit at 511 -220lb with pretty decent medium-large hands with slightly long fingers. So this mouse felt almost too light and too small. When I move the mouse it is with my finger tips attached like a claw like grip but ultimately a lot of grip comes from the palm of my hand resting on the mouse. Ultimately my palm has trouble touching this mouse in my grip and makes it harder to control because the mouse is too small. Moving onto software: Synapse 2.0 didnt recognize this mouse so I couldnt utilize the drivers unit synapse 3.0 came out. While it Works the program is FAR from finished and definitely needs some more polish. Mechanically this mouse has some great clicks. The buttons are very responsive and crisp in a Razer fashion. The mechanical buttons are very tactile in their mechanism and always give a great feed back for a good sounding click, the sensor is very good and I cant even get it to spin out and lose itself when I swipe the mouse across. Definitely has a great sensor as Razers most current mouse. The mouse wheel has a resistance adjust that is cool but, it still feels kinda cheap and lackluster compared to a logitech with infinite scroll. Design (Which is very subjective) to me as a designer I very much appreciated the product design of this mouse. Lines are lining up with certain design elements and the aesthetic is pure and simple sculpture without randomness. Everything is graphically very organized and its currently my favorite LOOKING mouse on the market. I just wished it fit my hand. Ultimately if youre a smaller person who can wield a lighter mouse then this is pretty perfect. I think for me next Ill be onto trying a Logitech g903 or G502 and a Razer Deathadder for a bigger size person.

This mouse is super comfortable and great for gaming. It comes with preset dpi’s that you can switch through with the click of a button. These are easily customizable with the razed synapse program. The lighting it great and the scroll wheel feels well built. And can change the resistance easily. The clutch on the side might be the best feature I’ve ever had on a gaming mouse. When held in it drastically reduces dpi for easy aiming and spray control. It comes with 3 different clutches. A large one, a small one and a rubber piece that fills the spot so it can’t be used and is unnoticeable in the off chance you don’t like the feature. I’ve had this mouse for months and I still love using it.

My old mouse broke, and I needed a new one. I was looking for a mouse that had a clutch or some sort of precision button to provide a bit more pinpoint accuracy and I decided to get this one. This is the only Razer product I have, most of my peripherals have been Corsair, but I love this mouse. The Razer Central and Synapse for calibrating the different lighting effects is extremely simple to navigate. You can change the colors and effects easily to cycle whatever you want. You can also set what the mouse buttons actually do and make it specific to which program youre in, so you can set the mouse button 4 to a number key for one game, and to a letter for a different game, and never have to actually change the profile. I am a big fan of this mouse and would suggest it to almost anyone.

    Greater than one week

I just really like this mouse. I had so much decision fatigue shopping for mice- once I finally landed on the basilisk i was so relieved. It conforms to my hand perfectly and its very accurate. I really like the thumb macro button that you can remove/modify to be longer or shorter. Great for specific games where you can bind a skill so you can cast without changing your WASD pathing.

Ive had my Basilisk for about a year and ever since about two weeks in Ive noticed a subtle shift in quality. It occasionally disconnects on its own, Synapse lags up and the buttons on the sides dont work (then it bursts for each lost input) or it outright refuses to function normally. These are pretty rare now, but a month or two ago it started double-clicking for no reason, or dropping held clicks. Now it clicks whenever it so pleases, and the left click button has a slight jiggle to it. The mouse hasnt been dropped. I dont use it rough enough for it to fall apart like this from light use, especially when my last one lasted longer. Sometimes youre just unlucky... While I wait for my Steelseries mouse to ship in, I set my LMB to be disabled while left mouse click is set to the side buttons.

I just returned a Razor Deathadder because it had a hardware problem with its wires, causing the mouse to repeatedly disconnect. After hours of troubleshooting, I discovered this was a common problem with Deathadder mice and promptly returned it. Foolishly, I purchased another Razor product to replace it, the Basilisk. Everything about the mouse seemed fine. Its smaller, lighter, and less comfortable than the Deathadder (An admittedly EXTREMELY comfortable mouse) but I played exactly two rounds of Rainbow Six Siege and it seemed to perform really well. I returned about three hours later to find that the rubber grip on the side had already partially come off. I had not vigorously handled the mouse, but for something that cost this much to ALREADY be falling apart? All Ive learned through two awful weeks of sifting through their products is that Razor is hilariously incompetent about their hardware. If it werent for the fancy RGB and sleek aesthetic, itd be a wonder if they were successful at all.

This would be a 5 star review if this mouse didnt occasionally die (stop moving), then reboot itself (i am assuming it restarts) and resumes working. This has never happened in game. However it does happen in desktop use. Other than that - I saw instant improvement of 100% in frags in PUBG. The design is perfect for me. The thumb level is actually something I am constantly using now. I just wish it didnt turn itself off every 2-3 hours during desktop use. Update: So they fixed the stops working issue with one of their latest updates. However, this mouse has another major issue - and its a show stopper for me. When you press and hold first of the side buttons really hard (such as in an intense battle for instance) it will block the left click button if you accidentally push it as well. Ive died many times due to this problem. The issue is with the spacing. There is no space between the side button and the left click button like on DeathAdder. This is a total show stopper for me. I have to now think of not double pushing the buttons, which is basically almost impossible in clutch moments. I got DeathAdder, and its a way better design. Buttons are separated from the top surface of the mouse, so you cannot push them at the same time. I wish I could return this mouse or exchange it for another (like DeathAdder). This is a failed product. I would seriously avoid it if you have anything but tiny hands.

The size is perfect. Ive used over 20 mice including the top G-Pro, SteelSeries Rival series, DeathAdder Elite, Zowie, you name it... this is by far my favorite. I was skeptical about the shape at first, but man its comfortable and grown on me. My problem with other similar ones such as Logitechs G502, was that it was too bulky and buttons felt cheap. This one is perfect, along with its weight, and its just smooth/accurate. I mainly play CS:GO, PUBG, and Overwatch at high levels. Great mouse, and super underrated. If you like the G-Pro size, or G502, then you will love this.
