> 24 hourAfter reading the description and some reviews, I had the idea that this would be a suitable scooter for a short adult. If it is, the adult has to be shorter than I am (and Im pretty short). I was pretty disappointed when I found that Id have to hunch over to use it. I ended up ordering another Razor scooter. It wasnt worth it to me to pay $10 to ship it back, so I sent it to my niece (elementary school age) as an early birthday gift. So far, she has been having a lot of fun zipping up and down the sidewalk on it.

> 24 hourI bought a Razor A Kick Scooter (green) as a Christmas gift for my son, who is 2yr 9mon old and 33 tall, so he will never have to fight with his sister (4yr 10mon old) again for another Razor A scooter that I bought a year ago. My son loves it (and so does my daughter) and here is why: 1. The adjustable handlebars make the scooter a perfect fit in terms of height for any age of young kids. 2. It is small and light weighted enough for a little kid to take along. 3. It is easy for a little kid to steer. 4. Its foldable design also makes it a breeze for parents to carry/transport around. On the other hand, parents should beware of the fact that a scooter like this could be faster than you want. So better always dress your little kids properly with protective gears and watch them during their rides for safety reasons.

> 24 hourI had an A shooter, but it broke so I ordered this new one. My old one was an old one (10+ years old) Comparing this new one and the old one, I noticed: They added a extra set of bolts to the front pole base which gives it more structural integrity. My other one broke because the deck broke in because it didnt have that extra set of bolts. Good improvement. The deck is shorter than the old one by 2 inches or so. It is a lot lighter than the old one - which is nice, but it probably means the metal is weaker. The brake sits lower. They added a push button to keep the pole up. There is plastic covering the folding mechanism. The old one was 100% metal - seemed more heavy-duty in that part. The wheels are different - less urethane The wheels spin less than my old one - especially the front wheel. But that could be because it needs to break in more. (I did lube it up). I might loosen it a bit to see if that helps. Overall, still a good product, but they dont make them like they used it.

> 24 hourI purchased 2 units, one blue and one red. My kids love riding them. The quality of the scooter is very good considering its price. The handle bar is easy to adjust with no tools. Kids can easily collapse and fold the handle by themselves for storage. The ride seems fairly smooth for them even over concrete sidewalks, although they prefer to ride on asphalt park trails. The rear fender brake works well. The good thing is they go about as fast as an adult jogging, so they can tag along when I go out for a quick run. I own a Xootr for myself, and compared to that unit these are toys, but for sub$40 what can one expect? :)

> 24 hourMy Nephew loves it! Hes only 4yrs old but he rides it like a pro! He easily learned how to get it balance, the scooter is good but not that rugged but its a good value for money and I dont know and not sure how long it is gonna last because it was made in China!

> 24 hourOh I finally got to break out my scooter I bought a month or so.... I love it. Im 56 and weigh at most 170 ish. I rode my scooter around all day. Bruised up my shin a couple times trying to carry it across the street (doesnt like those wierd strips before crossing major streets) but all and all its just ands sturdy as you could hope. If you are any taller or have somewhat shorter arms you would have to bend over to scoot. I can just barely ride it comfortably.

> 24 hourI bought one two years ago for one child (6 years old then). My younger child (turned 4 recently) kept using her sisters, so I got exact same one again. They love these and I love it, because we can go for long walks with our dogs. Its well made, easy to use, easy to store, and just lot of fun. Age 4 and up could use it. It did get rust spots here and there, so store indoor if possible ( we kept it out of rain but its very humid in FL; rust spots didnt effect the performance).

> 24 hourGot this for my 7 year old. He really likes it and for the price I think it is a great buy. I will say this though, their are 3 wheel models out there that both my 7 and 4 year old like a lot better than this two wheel razor. The three wheel ones are a lot easier to control and most have a fixed front wheels which my kids like better. They are more expensive, but I think they are worth it over the 2 wheel versions. Again this one is good. . . kids love it, just something to think about.

> 24 hourI use this to commute 2km to work. This distance is too short to bother with a bike but far enough that its worth using something with wheels. A scooter lets you travel at a running pace, about twice as fast as walking, with much less effort. It should also be useful at the start/end of trips on mass transit because its so easy to collapse and carry along. I took a few spills when I was first getting used to it. The small wheels wont climb even small bumps, it will stop as soon as it hits soft ground or gravel and if you hit leaves or sand when trying to turn it will slide out from under you. But after learning its limitations its been uneventful and even fun. Im at the upper end of the weight limit for this scooter but so far its held up well, except... The bearings on both wheels failed after a few months of riding in the rain. Probably due to insufficient lubrication and use of non-sealed bearings. I replaced them with some black 100mm wheels with sealed ABEC 7 bearings I ordered off e-bay (about $8). Hopefully these will last a while.
