The quakehold wall anchors are a nice product that gets the job done with ease. The straps are easy to install and the adhesive side is surprisingly strong. My 9 month old baby really put the straps to a test when he attempted to climb up his dresser. The straps saved him from a major injury. The quality of the straps and screws are acceptable for most cases. Overall, I would highly recommend these straps for anyone who is in need. Please, if you have a child, secure your furniture. It may save their life. If this review was helpful please click the vote button below.

Couldnt drill holes into the furniture. This seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. Installed into wall stud. Stuck to cabinet. Adhesion is great! Thing is not coming down. Hopefully these stand the test of time. Will revise if they dont!

Beware that the sticker portion adheres very securely to furniture. Ive purchased these multiple times while remodeling and adding large bookshelves/wardrobes to my house. They work incredibly well. Our floors were uneven in a nook of the house that we wanted to place bookshelves in. The bookshelves are solid wood and very heavy. After messing with the adjustable feet on the bookshelves for hours, we determined it would be foolish to not have straps attached, however level we got them. These straps immediately held the shelves firmly in place. Absolutely no rocking. We really tested by trying to tug the bookshelves forward (while one of us served as a spotter in case they fell), and they wouldnt budge. If we had children in the household, Id put these on everything. The only thing to be wary of, as mentioned, is that the sticker portion is insanely secure. Im pretty sure if I ever try to remove these, paint and wood/stain will be removed from the surface of my furniture. What I loved about these is that they work for areas where you cant easily reach in with a drill to secure a piece of furniture with screws on one side. We were able to screw the strap to the wall, because we could go in with the drill facing the wall above the bookshelves. But we would have had to remove the bookshelves from the nook if we were going to drill the other side of the strap into the tops of them, because there was not enough space between the top of the bookshelves and the ceiling to fit the drill in that direction. Using the sticky side on the bookshelves prevented us from having to pull the heavy units back out of the nook.

We didnt use this exactly as designed but still used it to secure a bookshelf and dresser to a wall. We cut off the velcro portion and melted the end with a lighter so it wont unravel. We used one rivet with drywall anchor to attach to the wall and used the other side/rivet to screw into the wooden bookshelf/dresser. Its very strong and secure.

This worked for my new corner china cabinet that did not feel very stable. The cabinet was made with light materials on the two back sides, and heavier wood on the front with glass and just felt unstable, so I ordered the furniture strap and attached the sticky side to the top of the cabinet (where it cant be seen) and then bolted to the corner stud in the wall.

Ive tried a couple different products for anchoring furniture to the walls to protect my little munchkin from hurting herself, but these seem to work the best. Theyre a little more expensive than other options, but theyre easy to install because only one end needs to be screwed into the wall. The other side attaches to the furniture via velcro. The velcro strip is stuck to the furniture wherever you want and the strap is secured via the velcro. It is a sturdy hold as the velcro is quite strong and virtually impossible to pull apart when pulled in parallel opposite directions, yet if you want to move the furniture, you can pull the velcro off by pulling it up (or perpendicular) from the velcro.

After moving to a much more seismically active part of California, I decided to grow up and secure our furniture and belongings. I mean I pay for earthquake insurance, so why not make sure we dont die from a bookcase or TV falling on us AND get to keep my stuff! It is always easier to install these before you load up bookshelves, cabinets, hutches, etc., BUT you can very easily install these straps with existing furniture placement. You MUST have a stud finder (cheap magnetic one on here works great) AND I recommend a drill with a good amount of torque to save a lot of effort. (It took me 2 hours to put in a set of straps without a good drill and only 2 minutes with a drill with torque!). Now, you MUST, and I must repeat, YOU MUST place the strap drilled into studs for these to do any good. Seriously. An earthquake will rip these out of sheet-rock so easily, SO do it right and youll save yourself and your stuff should the big one, or heck even a smaller one, rock and roll. I spent several hundred dollars on these things (they have ones for TVs that I STRONGLY recommend too!). It is truly a lot of work and cost for the peace of mind that you hope you never have to use (like insurance - these are a waste of money until you need them and they save your life and your stuff! HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you live in the 60% of the U.S. that is actually due for an earthquake (NOT just California folks!).

These are surprisingly solid! Sort of a cool, industrial type, securing method. The work rack is super secure with two of these and the finished product is pleasing.

Bought this kit to secure a bookcase and computer workstation. The kit is simple, but effective. Took only minutes to install and was very easy. All the parts you need are in here. Just supply your tools. The hook and loop connection to the furniture is very strong, but does allow you to remove and re-install the hold down. I would order these again if I need to secure some furniture.

Easy to install and invisible when placed on top of living room or bedroom units. On one very heavy unit I did drill the part attached to the furniture. I wanted to be extra safe and the velcro worried me a little on that unit. These are strong and I think they should work well in an earthquake.
