> 3 dayBe careful with where the double sided straps are placed. We previously placed these on a wood book case and realized that over time it separated from the wood ( I guess it didnt take to it as well). SO the whole time we though we were getting protection and werent. We bought these again because they are very strong and if applied to the right surface they are pretty great. I say they are 3 star because in reality they should have a different way to affix to furniture. We ended up drilling a small whole in it into the wood and it works fine now. The reality is if we have a big enough quake we rather have the small whole in the top of a piece of furniture no one will see then have it fall on us!

> 3 dayLOVE this product. As Earthquake Country native Ive been using them for years. But now that I live elsewhere I still use them. I just feel much safer knowing that heavy furniture is rigidly affixed to the studs in the wall. Easy to install and brings tremendous piece of mind.

> 3 dayPurchased for kids room to use on a tall/heavy dresser. VERY easy to install. The velco is insanely strong. The oak straps are more beige in color that I expected but Im not concerned since this is a safety measure :)

Greater than one weekWe got some of these at Lowe’s a while back for a hutch. Loved them enough that when I went back for more and they didn’t carry them any longer, I searched them out on Amazon. Good price, sturdy, easy to install. I like the Velcro bits- makes it easy to move if needed. (My kids are older so I don’t worry about them pulling the Velcro off on shorter pieces of furniture.)

> 3 dayLiving in an earthquake zone makes you aware of what might happen to tall furniture when the shaking begins. Ive used this and other Quakehold products to keep the disaster to a minimum when it does occur. Since these products come in several colors its fairly easily to hide the installation.

> 3 daySo I followed the instructions, cleaned the surface of my book shelf, stuck the Velcro on and screwed it to the wall, well I had to move some furniture around and went to undo the Velcro and the part that is suppose to stick on the shelf came unstuck, I ended up using super glue and havent had it come apart since!

> 3 dayI live in Earthquake-ville (So Cal) so I bought these straps for my two 5-shelf lawyer bookcases, which are heavy even when empty. Mine are both full of books. Since installing them, weve had at least three earthquakes all over 5.0, along with some minor shakers all with aftershocks; the bookcases didnt move. The straps come in at least 4 different colors to blend with wall color. I highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayWell, the kids havent actually tested this product yet, (thankfully), so I can only go by how it *seems* it would work. It feels sturdy and safe - I have much more piece of mind now than before, and they were relatively easy to install. If you can screw something into a piece of wood, you shouldnt have too much trouble with this. I feel like it would hold a very hefty piece of furniture in place. I recommend it!

> 3 dayPoor quality. Using to hold a shelf to wall in toddlers room. My husband specifically asked that I never purchase this brand again. Looks fine and seems to do the job however.

> 3 dayStraps are ok. Need to supply adequate screws. The screws are low quality and soft metal, and the pack did not contain a 1.5“ screw. The ¾ inch ones were too shallow and the 2” ones they supplied were too long. I needed to search the basement for appropriate screws. Unnecessary headache for that price.
