> 3 dayBeware that the sticker portion adheres very securely to furniture. Ive purchased these multiple times while remodeling and adding large bookshelves/wardrobes to my house. They work incredibly well. Our floors were uneven in a nook of the house that we wanted to place bookshelves in. The bookshelves are solid wood and very heavy. After messing with the adjustable feet on the bookshelves for hours, we determined it would be foolish to not have straps attached, however level we got them. These straps immediately held the shelves firmly in place. Absolutely no rocking. We really tested by trying to tug the bookshelves forward (while one of us served as a spotter in case they fell), and they wouldnt budge. If we had children in the household, Id put these on everything. The only thing to be wary of, as mentioned, is that the sticker portion is insanely secure. Im pretty sure if I ever try to remove these, paint and wood/stain will be removed from the surface of my furniture. What I loved about these is that they work for areas where you cant easily reach in with a drill to secure a piece of furniture with screws on one side. We were able to screw the strap to the wall, because we could go in with the drill facing the wall above the bookshelves. But we would have had to remove the bookshelves from the nook if we were going to drill the other side of the strap into the tops of them, because there was not enough space between the top of the bookshelves and the ceiling to fit the drill in that direction. Using the sticky side on the bookshelves prevented us from having to pull the heavy units back out of the nook.

Greater than one weekThese are great to for tall shelves to hold them in place so they dont fall over which can happen and can be very dangerous with small children who like to climb

> 3 dayStraps are ok. Need to supply adequate screws. The screws are low quality and soft metal, and the pack did not contain a 1.5“ screw. The ¾ inch ones were too shallow and the 2” ones they supplied were too long. I needed to search the basement for appropriate screws. Unnecessary headache for that price.

> 3 dayLiving in California and in the earthquake zone, I feel the need to have some of our heavier furniture secured in case of earthquake. Bonus, it secures against a highly active toddler trying to pull and climb on furniture. We used the velcro on our furniture as we did not want to drill holes on it. My husband tried tugging on the furnitures we used it on and it held well on the wall. I feel better knowing , heavy furniture will not tip over. Super easy to use and comes in different colors to match your furniture.

> 3 dayI’ve bought this before. Living in CA you have earthquakes now and then. I got these to proactively keep things from falling over. They can be attached to anything like a TV, book case, entertainment center, etc. if the EQ is really big things may still fall but this is added security.

> 3 dayThe same price as the store, AND they work great! IF you live in earthquake country, and seems that may extend a lot more east than here on the coast of California, YOU NEED THESE! Yes, they are a bit of work to install, BUT if that day should ever come when a moderate to huge earthquake happens, your furniture will not topple over on you as you get out of your home. Now, you MUST, seriously, MUST follow the very tiny print and attach these to STUDS in your walls. If not, these are just a waste of money and are cosmetic. IF you attach them to a stud AND either drill into your furniture, OR use the very strong Velcro, you will be OK. I seriously recommend you use their other products to ensure your valuables do not fall, BUT ya really need this in much of the West Coast and well, anywhere ya might have an earthquake! HIGHLY RECOMMEND Quakehold furniture straps!

> 3 dayIf you live in SoCal you need these to secure tall furniture. It’s cheap, easy to install, strong and most importantly, provides extra safety for you your family during a quake. Can’t put a price on that.

> 3 dayGrowing up in CA, we had to worry about earthquakes. When we moved to Idaho, my husband thought I was crazy for wanting these; but I won the arguement :-). Anyhoo, we had these on all tall furniture in the house and the kids dressers, but didnt have one on the dresser in our room. My son, at age 6, was playing in our room and opened all the drawers and it came crashing down. In slow motion, I saw it coming down, but couldnt stop it! In a moment, I thought he was seriously injured or worse, thought about the call to 911, etc. As I quickly ran to pick it up, worried about what I would see, I see my son huddled in the 12 inches between the down dresser and the footboard of our bedframe; completely unscathed! This is one of those times I will always think about how close I was to loosing my son. PUT THESE ON ALL DRESSERS and TALL FURNITURE. They are worth the cost!!!
