> 3 dayThese worked great to child-proof two shelving units in our basement/playroom. The open shelving units are 72Hx28Wx18D. We attached the straps (one strap per shelf) to the top of the units with the adhesive. For one unit, we were able to screw into a metal stud. For the other unit, we used a toggle bolt (not provided with the kit). The straps are strong - the units will not move, even when I put my full weight on them (130 lbs) - and seem much more sturdy than the regular kits sold specifically for child-proofing.

Greater than one weekThese have worked incredibly well for us! I have a 3 and 5 year old and we used these to attach the upstairs TV console to the walls (as well as an additional strap for the flat screen). Installation was easy and there wont be any damage to the furniture itself. My husband tested its stability by using all his force to try and tip the console and it didnt budge an inch. I feel VERY secure knowing this will keep my children safe should they try and climb on the console (which they know not to.....but you know....theyre children!)

> 3 dayI live in Earthquake-ville (So Cal) so I bought these straps for my two 5-shelf lawyer bookcases, which are heavy even when empty. Mine are both full of books. Since installing them, weve had at least three earthquakes all over 5.0, along with some minor shakers all with aftershocks; the bookcases didnt move. The straps come in at least 4 different colors to blend with wall color. I highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayWe got some of these at Lowe’s a while back for a hutch. Loved them enough that when I went back for more and they didn’t carry them any longer, I searched them out on Amazon. Good price, sturdy, easy to install. I like the Velcro bits- makes it easy to move if needed. (My kids are older so I don’t worry about them pulling the Velcro off on shorter pieces of furniture.)

> 3 dayThis worked for my new corner china cabinet that did not feel very stable. The cabinet was made with light materials on the two back sides, and heavier wood on the front with glass and just felt unstable, so I ordered the furniture strap and attached the sticky side to the top of the cabinet (where it cant be seen) and then bolted to the corner stud in the wall.

Greater than one weekWanted to attach my board game shelf to the wall, to better quake-proof my home. Found this solution to be super easy-to-use and install. I had to borrow my dads stud finder, make marks with a pencil, and use my own drill, but other than that, it was smooth sailing. Now I have peace of mind knowing that the shelf is less likely to fall.

Greater than one weekWe had three geometric shelf units stacked on their sides. These straps anchored the top one to the wall. Just perfect.

> 3 dayMy toddler loves to climb in drawers to play. So when we put a new dresser in her room with a heavy tube TV on top, I had horrible visions of her getting crushed. These straps were very easy to install and are hidden from view. They are very strong and I love that I didnt have to drill holes in the dresser to install them. And wouldnt you know, not 20 minutes after I installed them I caught my kid climbing in the dresser drawings. Chalk one up for the good guys.

> 3 dayWe recently bought a 6 foot bookcase. We wanted to secure it in case of an earthqueake and to make sure kids wouldnt tip it over accidently. These straps are great. Two bolts into the wall studs and velcro attachment to the top of the bookcase out of sight.

> 3 dayStraps are ok. Need to supply adequate screws. The screws are low quality and soft metal, and the pack did not contain a 1.5“ screw. The ¾ inch ones were too shallow and the 2” ones they supplied were too long. I needed to search the basement for appropriate screws. Unnecessary headache for that price.
