Very well-built. My furniture feels very secure in prevention of tipping.

No longer live in earthquake area, but found these furniture straps to be very effective at holding a tall 7 bookcase in place. We have a baby and toddlers come and visit so it is a real safety issue to have our bookcases secure. The kit comes with everything you need for the actual mount however I recommend having your own power screwdriver and a phillips in order to complete. The kit gives two ways you can secure which is handy. We ended up just cutting off the excess after I used a our own mounting screws and anchor for the wall. For our project we had a 7 bookcase with about 75lbs worth of books on it and now it is firmly anchored into the wall. Why only 4 stars? Asthetically, the straps can look a little unflattering, however our colors (black bookcase and dark green room) masked this, however you can choose to strap behind the bookcase to hide this aspect completely; also the length of the straps almost makes you take the extra step of cutting, however it is always better to have more than less in these type of projects. Recommended.

These are very easy to install. I am using these on my aquariums to keep them from falling of the stands during an earthquake. They have been through one earthquake but it wasnt strong enough to even move the aquariums but if it were I am sure these straps would make it through a bigger earthquake.

This worked for my new corner china cabinet that did not feel very stable. The cabinet was made with light materials on the two back sides, and heavier wood on the front with glass and just felt unstable, so I ordered the furniture strap and attached the sticky side to the top of the cabinet (where it cant be seen) and then bolted to the corner stud in the wall.

Bought this kit to secure a bookcase and computer workstation. The kit is simple, but effective. Took only minutes to install and was very easy. All the parts you need are in here. Just supply your tools. The hook and loop connection to the furniture is very strong, but does allow you to remove and re-install the hold down. I would order these again if I need to secure some furniture.

I recently moved to an earthquake zone, and had to buy this kit for an armoir in my house. It matched the color perfectly, and installed without any trouble. The velcro on the straps is very very strong, so much so that I had a hard time pulling it apart with my bare hands. I would definitely hold through some serious jostling, The kit hasnt been through a quake yet, but I feel a bit better knowing that the armoir is secured.

LOVE this product. As Earthquake Country native Ive been using them for years. But now that I live elsewhere I still use them. I just feel much safer knowing that heavy furniture is rigidly affixed to the studs in the wall. Easy to install and brings tremendous piece of mind.

The same price as the store, AND they work great! IF you live in earthquake country, and seems that may extend a lot more east than here on the coast of California, YOU NEED THESE! Yes, they are a bit of work to install, BUT if that day should ever come when a moderate to huge earthquake happens, your furniture will not topple over on you as you get out of your home. Now, you MUST, seriously, MUST follow the very tiny print and attach these to STUDS in your walls. If not, these are just a waste of money and are cosmetic. IF you attach them to a stud AND either drill into your furniture, OR use the very strong Velcro, you will be OK. I seriously recommend you use their other products to ensure your valuables do not fall, BUT ya really need this in much of the West Coast and well, anywhere ya might have an earthquake! HIGHLY RECOMMEND Quakehold furniture straps!

Couldnt drill holes into the furniture. This seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. Installed into wall stud. Stuck to cabinet. Adhesion is great! Thing is not coming down. Hopefully these stand the test of time. Will revise if they dont!
