> 3 dayMy toddler loves to climb in drawers to play. So when we put a new dresser in her room with a heavy tube TV on top, I had horrible visions of her getting crushed. These straps were very easy to install and are hidden from view. They are very strong and I love that I didnt have to drill holes in the dresser to install them. And wouldnt you know, not 20 minutes after I installed them I caught my kid climbing in the dresser drawings. Chalk one up for the good guys.

> 3 dayHow does one rate an item that is to be used during an emergency? I can only attest to the sense of this sturdy strap, now secured to library sized bookcases. I believe that the wall will have to fall before these things give way. So, unitil/unless theres a major quake, I will give it a 4 star rating ... just in case theres some hedging that need be done.

> 3 dayPurchased for kids room to use on a tall/heavy dresser. VERY easy to install. The velco is insanely strong. The oak straps are more beige in color that I expected but Im not concerned since this is a safety measure :)

> 3 dayThe quakehold wall anchors are a nice product that gets the job done with ease. The straps are easy to install and the adhesive side is surprisingly strong. My 9 month old baby really put the straps to a test when he attempted to climb up his dresser. The straps saved him from a major injury. The quality of the straps and screws are acceptable for most cases. Overall, I would highly recommend these straps for anyone who is in need. Please, if you have a child, secure your furniture. It may save their life. If this review was helpful please click the vote button below.

Greater than one weekI think this is a good product. The hardest part is finding the studs in the wall. I only did it because I have grandchildren and I wanted to be a bit safer with book shelves and curios. This offers me a measure of comfort along with watchful eyes when there are visiting. I know that children can move fast and these straps could offer the seconds needed to get to them before something bad could happen.

> 3 dayWorks perfect. We bought it to attach an IKEA wardrobe to the wall. There was no way to use screws or nails in the wardrobe, it would have just fallen apart, so this was the perfect solution. Extremely sturdy. Will definitely hold up to an earthquake, or children trying to topple furniture over onto themselves.

> 3 dayGreat product. Installation instructions were clear so it was easy to install. The straps were noticeably lighter than they appear on the website. The only other criticism is that the way they are packaged causes the Velcro to curl a bit on the ends so I needed to lay some books on the straps for a bit to get the Velcro to fully stick to the cabinet (the adhesive isnt strong enough to overcome the curl and stay stuck without help). The Velcro is VERY strong, for those who are worried. I think the adhesive holding the Velcro to the furniture would give long before the Velcro does.

> 3 dayLiving in California and in the earthquake zone, I feel the need to have some of our heavier furniture secured in case of earthquake. Bonus, it secures against a highly active toddler trying to pull and climb on furniture. We used the velcro on our furniture as we did not want to drill holes on it. My husband tried tugging on the furnitures we used it on and it held well on the wall. I feel better knowing , heavy furniture will not tip over. Super easy to use and comes in different colors to match your furniture.

> 3 dayBeware that the sticker portion adheres very securely to furniture. Ive purchased these multiple times while remodeling and adding large bookshelves/wardrobes to my house. They work incredibly well. Our floors were uneven in a nook of the house that we wanted to place bookshelves in. The bookshelves are solid wood and very heavy. After messing with the adjustable feet on the bookshelves for hours, we determined it would be foolish to not have straps attached, however level we got them. These straps immediately held the shelves firmly in place. Absolutely no rocking. We really tested by trying to tug the bookshelves forward (while one of us served as a spotter in case they fell), and they wouldnt budge. If we had children in the household, Id put these on everything. The only thing to be wary of, as mentioned, is that the sticker portion is insanely secure. Im pretty sure if I ever try to remove these, paint and wood/stain will be removed from the surface of my furniture. What I loved about these is that they work for areas where you cant easily reach in with a drill to secure a piece of furniture with screws on one side. We were able to screw the strap to the wall, because we could go in with the drill facing the wall above the bookshelves. But we would have had to remove the bookshelves from the nook if we were going to drill the other side of the strap into the tops of them, because there was not enough space between the top of the bookshelves and the ceiling to fit the drill in that direction. Using the sticky side on the bookshelves prevented us from having to pull the heavy units back out of the nook.

> 3 dayThese furniture straps are great for everywhere, but especially here in California. Ive bought and used many of these for a lot of heavy or tall furniture, like book cases, hutches, cabinets and I used these white color straps to attach my fridge to the wall - dont want that falling on ya when the earth is shaking! Id recommend these also for anyone with small children who can climb and knock things over. Very easy to use (best with an electric drill to get the bolt into a stud) and simple safety and insurance. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
