> 3 dayOkay. I bought this monitor under the impression that it would refresh at 165hz. If this is so, why is it not going above 100hz??? Edit: Problem solved. I was just using the wrong port. -_- I KNOW IM A NOOB! Colors seem to be just fine for me with a couple minor tweaks. I use ReShade for gaming so this monitor has perfect lights and darks for me. <3

> 3 daySince buying this monitor it has proven to be a bit glitchy. It has at times not wanted to turn on causing my MoBo to give a VGA alarm/light. At first I thought it was my new video card, so I swapped it out to my old one and got the same alarm, put the new one back in then started messing with the power button on the monitor. Surprise everything is working fine again. Other than that glitch, I love this monitor, and will never return to a normal flat panel again. While gaming it has given me ZERO problems. No screen tearing, no vsync issues, and my frame rates have been very stable. Even my 3DMark scores have been out of this world for a stock clocked PC. Win 10 Pro 20H2 Asus ROG Stryx X570E mobo Ryzon 7 3800X cpu 32GB of Corsair ram Saphire 6700xt Nitro+ video card Update: After downloading then installing the 1006.0 firmware update from samsung all of the glitchy behavior has gone away. No more alarms, no more flickering with certain apps, and the power button now works properly.

> 3 dayI got a good deal on this monitor. Wish it would have been complete. Mine was missing the arm for the stand. Seems a bit washed out. But I am not an expert, so a new monitor could be outstanding. Nothing like seeing in person

> 3 dayWhere do I start? I guess Ill do bullet points. - (Be sure to use a fast enough cable to support the high refresh rate and resolution, I recommend DisplayPort 1.4 or higher or equivalent.) - The 1000R curve looks really nice, this is my first curved monitor and from what I read online this monitor has a really aggressive curve so I didnt know if I would like it, but I totally do. - The resolution is good, 3440x1440 is perfect for this size monitor everything looks crisp. - 165hz is just right for my needs, I have a 4080 and when I play Warzone my framerate hovers around 120-160fps when Im using high settings so I dont think Ill be needing a higher hertz monitor. - The monitor control knob at the bottom works well and is a lot better than having several buttons. - So far I havent noticed any dead pixels. - I went from a 3 monitor setup to this 1 monitor ultrawide so my desk would look cleaner. I was afraid I would lose multitasking advantages, but you can still enjoy multitasking by snapping windows to the left and right of the monitor and its big enough to comfortably do so. - I saw a few people complain over the build quality on how its plastic, but I have NO complains over how it feels. I also think plastic was the way to go in order to save weight as I do have it on a monitor arm. (I recommend the ErGear Single Monitor Mount Stand 13-39 Inches Gaming Monitor Arm its the one Im currently using and its great.) Im sure there are drawbacks to this monitor, however to my untrained eye the experience is great, also the price doesnt break the bank.

> 3 dayStep aside, old monitors, theres a new sheriff in town! This monitor is a breeze to install and looks sharper than a samurai sword. With both HDMI and Lightning ports, youll be able to hook up all your video devices. Gaming has never been easier on the eyes with a refresh rate of 165hz, and the best part? It wont cost you an arm and a leg. Get ready to upgrade your viewing experience!

Greater than one weekGot this one on Prime Day. I didnt have any room to set it up where I was, and was planning on moving. Took me over a month to move, finally did, and hooked up the monitor. its a HUGE size, even coming from a 27, still a huge step up in size. For a TV, small, but for gaming on a PC its massive. But I love it. The curved screen is a little easy to lose your cursor at times, but Im sure Ill get used to it. After running for a couple hours, a band of about 3 worth of lines appeared on screen, and wouldnt go away. Happened in both inputs and when there was nothing plugged into the monitor except power. And it was past the return date for Amazon so I had to deal with Samsung repair. Was an easy enough process, they even sent me a UPS return label to print to send it back 2nd day air. They did keep it over a week though, and I think they actually repaired the same monitor and sent it back. Wasnt a reconditioned unit off the shelf. At least it was the same box I sent it in. All works well, and I really wish it was brighter, I have it set to full brightness and almost full contrast, and there are still some darker/muddy area when watching movies or playing some games. Im sure if I mess with more settings I can improve it some, but mostly ok. The response time is fine, the 2k resolution is awesome, and my poor lil rx 570 can push this many pixels just fine. A lot of games make it work really hard, and have had to turn some settings down. When playing in 1680x1050, I could have a lot of games on Ultra, and some in 1080. But popping the monitor on to its full 2560x1440 it dropped frames to about 8-10. Had to go down a couple notches to Very High on most games to get playable again. Better video cards will handle better, but with prices the way they are, Im happy with this for now.
