The monitor was great, for the time that I had it but I have a cautionary take for you if you get one and it arrives with an issue like mine did. Also just as a side note I do not normally write reviews. So, my monitor arrived and all was well. Put it on my triple monitor arm and started to use it, it was so nice and I liked it a lot. After I was done I went to bed but in the morning when I woke up half of the screen was dark, the back light died/was dying. I ask amazon if I can exchange it for a new one and they said no, but Samsung can repair it for you for free! WOW! So I send my monitor to samsung, this was on 3/6/2021. After WEEKS of waiting I get told yeah we arent going to fix your monitor OR send you a new one, we are just going to refund you. After more time of waiting I just wanted the monitor again so I bought the monitor again before ever seeing my money back from samsung. I just got my money back in my account today, 4/27/2021. Almost 2 full months for a simple refund, if I knew it was going to be a refund to begin with I would have just returned it to amazon and gotten my money back 2 months ago. TL;DR : DO NOT SEND INTO SAMSUNG FOR REPAIR OF YOUR PRODUCT, if you bought it from amazon just return it to amazon.

Ive always used my TV for gaming because I was able to connect my laptop to it but finally upgraded to a PC and need a monitor. I purchased the 27in last year when it was on sale and for the price I bought it at its been great. Gaming and watching videos the picture quality is perfect.

Lets talk pros and cons of this monitor. I am coming off a 1080p curved display from MSI. Also 144hz and 1 ms response. The 1440p is a huge step up in my option but is lacking some key features. PROS: The 1000r curve is great! Really immersive game play and a noticeable difference from 1800r curve. People coming from a 1500r curve may not notice a huge difference. - 1440p display - 144 hz - 1ms response time - HDR 600 (NOTE Its NOT HDR 10 like advertised. This has a peak brightness of 600 nits) - VA panel provides nice contrast over TN panel - Great Price point! CONS: Switching between HDMI and Display port has been a pain. The monitor has trouble switching over correctly and has forced me to manual switch it numerous time by the mini joystick underneath. I run my PC Display Port and my Xbox thru HDMI - Display Port is 1.2 not 1.4 This is fine for gaming at 1440p @ 144fps but does not have the bandwidth to properly due HDR content. HDR is not perfect with this monitor and seems to work better in HDMI -Not G-Sync compatible but does have AMD Freesync Premium -Stand has no height adjustment. Only pivots on the angle -No RGB lighting like its bigger brothers the G7 and G9 (Not a deal breaker at this price point) Side Note: To achieve a TRUE 1ms response time the monitor needs to be set to the FASTEST setting. Problem with this is I noticed is washed out colors and some ghosting and artifacting on some images. The 1ms response is Motion response and NOT pixel response like the G7. For best picture i recommend turning on AMD Freesync which will by default put the monitor to normal response. This will knock it down to 4ms but to the average consumer looks and plays great. CONCLUSION: All in all is a decent purchase and a great price point for what you get. I think most will be happy with this monitor. If you are a competitive gamer I would look else where. For the casual gamer who wants resolution over performance...this is a great purchase for the money

I didnt know what to expect because this would be my first curved monitor. I have to say, that once I put it in place, turned it on, and started using it I was impressed. It took me a few days to get used to it. It is different. But once I got to work, I work from home, and by the end of the day, it was good to go. For games like FO76 and FS2020...oh my gosh...perfect. For Word and Excell and searching the web, it is impressive. I usually get Samsung for my TVs so this was the first Samsung computer monitor. Samsung, in my experience, has always had a nice crystal, crisp coloring presentation. This one did not disappoint me. I am totally impressed with this monitor.

My first monitor the one that I am keeping is a 5+ for the price. I want 2 displays and every additional one has a true white issue. This is with all settings equal, it follows the monitor when swapping sources. The only difference is the embedded software on the more white one is 1008. The others are 1009.1. It could be that samsung received a batch of bad LEDs or toned down the brightness to compensate for possible early failures? The 3 additional monitors from Amazon may be from the same lot? Any how I could not adjust this out with Gama, color, brightness, contrast, and is a shame. The first monitor kicks! I dont know if I want to go through more returns to get a good one. So bottom line if you order one and the white is just not that white you may be seeing what I have. Yes cables, drivers, widows, graphic cards all have been checked the same source to the good monitor when applied to the others still show the monitors to be off white.

While the screen had a scratch on it, however it did not affect picture. Setup was easy. Took too long to ship. Picture quality was great. I did not see any dead pixels.

I bought it for the speed and comparability to the Play Station 5. I love the curve design. Feels like you are almost surrounded by the game. To find a QHD that size and great Samsung quality for way less than $400.00 is very rare. I am very happy with it. Thank you

Read this review, then decide on the purchase. The price is pretty hefty, and I’m sure you’ve heard the cons to this beautiful piece of gaming art. Although, let me fill you in on what you don’t know. This monitor, is freaking huge, ok? This thing is a beautiful piece, has the perfect amount of curve, graphics are great!! And the piece of resistance is that it’s hard to find things wrong with it. Now obviously Their are cons to this item. Very commonly you will find maybe one or two dead pixels, (not that big of deal). You might worry about the ghosting this monitor has, it really isn’t that bad. And last but not least, the HDR being below normal. It is a very dim monitor, although it is easy to get adjusted too. Great for use in a dim lit or no lit room. Also, god for bid. Take your time putting the stand on, that was most likely the worst thing abt this monitor. That hell of a stand.
