Greater than one weekI will say anyone who gets this and wants 165 hz from a laptop to buy one of those cables from Amazon USB-C to display port that supports 166 Hz. there’s a humongous difference between 165 Hz and 100 or HDMI. This monitor is kinda like an entry-level sports car. It may not have all the bells and whistles, but it’s got insane torque, horsepower and the diskless brakes. I Think this could last as a five year monitor. It’s not true 4K, but it doesn’t matter there’s not that much content in 4K HDR above 120 hz + in 2023. A select few movies are in that range like the new avatar. When 4K is the minimum default standard for 95% media created movies, games, music @120 hz then you might consider upgrading. Basically 1080 P is the current standard of media. The default stand is just OK. I saw some negative comments about using this for office productivity and I have no idea what they’re talking about. It’s great for movies great for games great for work. I replaced my Company assigned brand new duel Dell 27” monitor set up with no compromises. Mind you each of those monitors would like $464 each times two. that’s mind-boggling how much value this monitor has over the competition. immediately My multitasking reading and comprehension increased, and reduced eyestrain. Once I had the Picture quality settings to my liking, my eyes were like oh, thank goodness , please never go back to that old technology!

Greater than one weekHad the monitor for 9 months before the the screen started delaminating from the bezel at Top Center. I registered my monitor on Samsungs website to find out I had 20 days left on a one year warranty. After jumping though many hoops I spoke to a rep and had a repair ticket in. They game me a label to ship the monitor to a repair center. It took them about 2 days to replace the screen and sent the monitor back. Upon return, I did a dead pixel check and found 2 dead pixels with the new screen. Unfortunate but what can you do : / On the bright side I cannot really see them unless I look for them. Other than these issues the monitor has been great.

Greater than one weekOverall it is an excellent monitor. Comes in at 144hz but you can easily overclock to 165hz and it stays stable. Samsung has quality products and I havent really had many issues with the screen. I do love the curve and the size of this monitor. Cons: Compared to my 1440p Dell monitor the colors are slightly washed even after adjusting the settings. (Not a deal breaker it still looks good just noticeable against my other monitor) Some backlight bleed through on very dark scenes. Overall 4/5 stars especially because it was only 270 bucks when I bought it so for that price it is well worth it. The G7 is obviously a better model but the price reflects that. For most gamers this model will be more than enough. I dont notice much screen tearing on FPS games or sports games which is nice so the response time is actually what it says it is. I havent had any durability issues as some others have stated in reviews. I however do not use the stand it comes with but a vesa mount from my desk.

> 3 dayPerfect for gaming. The deep curve and 165 Hz are the two biggest benefits for me. Games look crisp, and I can now see details that I never noticed before. You will want a decent video card to drive this monitor to its full potential. I use an RTX 3060 Ti and it works great.

Greater than one weekGot this one on Prime Day. I didnt have any room to set it up where I was, and was planning on moving. Took me over a month to move, finally did, and hooked up the monitor. its a HUGE size, even coming from a 27, still a huge step up in size. For a TV, small, but for gaming on a PC its massive. But I love it. The curved screen is a little easy to lose your cursor at times, but Im sure Ill get used to it. After running for a couple hours, a band of about 3 worth of lines appeared on screen, and wouldnt go away. Happened in both inputs and when there was nothing plugged into the monitor except power. And it was past the return date for Amazon so I had to deal with Samsung repair. Was an easy enough process, they even sent me a UPS return label to print to send it back 2nd day air. They did keep it over a week though, and I think they actually repaired the same monitor and sent it back. Wasnt a reconditioned unit off the shelf. At least it was the same box I sent it in. All works well, and I really wish it was brighter, I have it set to full brightness and almost full contrast, and there are still some darker/muddy area when watching movies or playing some games. Im sure if I mess with more settings I can improve it some, but mostly ok. The response time is fine, the 2k resolution is awesome, and my poor lil rx 570 can push this many pixels just fine. A lot of games make it work really hard, and have had to turn some settings down. When playing in 1680x1050, I could have a lot of games on Ultra, and some in 1080. But popping the monitor on to its full 2560x1440 it dropped frames to about 8-10. Had to go down a couple notches to Very High on most games to get playable again. Better video cards will handle better, but with prices the way they are, Im happy with this for now.

> 3 dayOverall, I really like this monitor. The picture quality is amazing. The main gripe I have is the single function button. This would be fine when the monitor is on. However, this also serves as the power on/off button. In case the engineers didnt know, or forgot, an on-screen menu doesnt appear when the monitor is off. The other gripe is the stand provided for this monitor. In order to turn this monitor on, you have to press the button once, rock it forward once, then press the button again. It is fiddly at the best of times, Other times, youll be rocking and clicking the button like youre mining for bitcoin. There should be a separate power button for the monitor. You really want to consider mounting this monitor rather than using the provided stand. While the stand does work, you will notice A LOT of wobble on the monitor due to the weight and the stand being located in the back, on the bottom. I personally feel that when you start getting larger than 28 monitors, you really need to provide a more stable, centralized stand. Overall, this is still a great buy for the price. Im very happy overall and would recommend the monitor to others. Just keep in mind the single button issue.

> 3 dayIve had this monitor for over a year now and I have not had an issue. Im actually only writing this review because Im about to purchase another one. I have to say though, I chose the Flat style and not Curved however the monitor that I received is curved. I see now that it shows curved in the title, but under style selected shows Flat. Due to this, I received the wrong item but I chose to keep it anyway. Just beware.

> 3 dayOk so I bought an acer monitor for 320 dollars, it was 240hz and 1080p so I was expecting a smooth experience. I was very excited when opening the package since the ergonomics and overall quality of the acer was son nice. That was until I turned it on and it had a massive amount of tearing, 240hz just felt wrong, there was smearing, color cast, etc. Point is, I am sending it back but I didnt want to do so without seeing up a monitor for my pc. so I ordered this one. I am so happy I decided to go for it and change it. I have only encountered one single problem with this monitor, and its the green darks and pink highlights. Out of the box my monitor came with a green tint that was way too noticeable, some tweaking in the settings and Nvidias panel, and I fixed it to a decent degree. Highly recommend, I dont think a monitor this good is going to be found at this price tag. I do have to say, the acer had better materials used for the hardware build, but Samsung seemed to compensate with screen quality and smooth performance. 90% recommend

> 3 dayThe cable the monitor comes with is an HDMI cable, instead of a DisplayPort cable. This would be fine if this was a 60hz refresh rate monitor, but it is 144hz, which the cable this comes with doesnt support. If you want to make use of the full product, make sure to pick up a DP cable along with this, so you can actually use the 144hz you pay for.
