> 24 hourI’ve got five of these in various machines, they are reliable and fast. From Linux to different flavors of Windows, they are quiet and boot quickly. My oldest one is 3 years, never had a problem with it. It’s a decent size for a general purpose PC.

> 24 hourI have this and its smaller brother the 860. Lightning-fast. Easy to install, and really easy to migrate software with the downloadable Samsung software. (You will need a USB to SATA adapter but it is a click and forget migration!)

> 24 hourThe SSD was easy to install and came with SATA cables (one 90 degree and one straight) that worked perfectly. Once plugged in, as soon as I added it I was able to use it! Check YouTube if youre confused at all with installation, but its very straightforward and everything is included.

> 24 hourGot 2 of these drives. First one went into an older laptop, Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575-33BM. Did not want to clone operating system, the Acer version of windows 10 had limits. Did my research and got prepped with a windows media creation usb drive for a clean intall. Popped out the old toshiba hd and popped in the 870 evo. (not to worry about 10mm vs 7mm, the toshiba HD is 7mm and has rubber shock absorption pads to fit the sata port, just install them on new drive) Inserted usb drive, turned on laptop, followed instructions. Helps if you already have a Microsoft account. Very straightforward.
