Installed in less than 20 minutes and I had expanded my computer storage great buy if you want fast storage.

Amazon ordering process was great and the SSD was delivered the next morning from when i ordered it, WOW how great is that! The Samsung SSD was easy to install and the Samsung cloning software worked GREAT. I used a SSD mounting bracket also purchased from Amazon The Corsair Dual SSD Mounting Bracket 3.5 CSSD-BRKT2. This bracket has all the mounting screws needed for the SSD and bracket mounting.

This SSD was easy to install and setup. It definitely increased the speed of my computer! My PC came with a 1 TB HDD, which was useless because the computer froze and was insanely slow. I upgraded Ram and added this SSD, which helped significantly. I added the Ram first, which helped keep it from freezing and increased loading speed, but this SSD multiplied that tenfold. I highly recommend this product. Side note: I use my computer a lot and I have several programs running at the same time, but I am not a gamer... so I cannot speak on the difference in that realm. Definitely worth it otherwise!

I have bee the IT support for a 4 person company for 30 years now....my family. I have replaced all traditional HDs with Samsung SSDs. I use 500gb for a separate drive for the OS and other non-game installs only. Never had a problem with anyone but the 250 I bought...too small!. I used that one for a friend that DOESNT game and its still working fine for her.

I have 3 of these Samsung SSDs, two 2TB and one 1TB. I love all of them, but I gave this purchase 1 star because of an issue with shipping. Instead of actually reading the package, and matching it with the order, someone at the fulfillment center just grabbed a box that said Samsung SSD and threw it in a packing envelope and shipped it. I ordered a Samsung 870 EVO 2TB, what I received was a Samsung Pro 1TB PCIE. Not even close! Normally I would just chalk it up to someone being human and making a mistake. In fact, thats exactly what I did WHEN IT HAPPENED THE LAST TIME! Yes, several months ago I purchased the exact same drive, and the exact same thing happened!! Nothing like pulling your computer out and getting it ready to install a new drive only to find out that Amazon shipped the wrong one.....and thats what happened to me...TWICE! Seriously, how difficult is it to read the package and make sure the item exactly matches the order?

I have several Samsung SSDs and have had good luck with them until recently. I have the 500GB version of the 870EVO that Ive been using as a scratch disk for Adobe Premiere. Ive noticed some performance issues recently and today, the SSD failed. It no longer registers in my BIOS and the system hangs for 35 minutes if I connect it and start Windows 11. It is dead, Jim.

The first one worked so well that I bought more to replace the HD drive in our other laptops. Now all 3 laptops worked like new.

Easy swap from mechanical and it turned my 2012 Samsung Series5 into a completely different machine with a 15 second boot to desktop and literally 0% disk usage during use. Benchmarks @ 580

Used to upgrade computers with Intel SATA SSDs, but lately switched to Samsung. Havent had a bad experience with the 860 EVO series, yet, and hope that the 870 EVA will continue on the same track.
