Over the decades, I’ve installed countless operating systems at home. Many times I have upgraded the capacity of the main drive in Windows and on MacBook computers. This was the easiest ever. Samsung included a downloadable tool that migrated my data from the Windows primary C: drive to the new disk WHILE THE SYSTEM WAS RUNNING! I was expecting the usual removal of the disk, use another computer and SATA-USB cables to copy the data, resizing of partitions, etc. Nope. I was done completely in an hour and most of that was the time to copy the data from one disk to the other. I will definitely be back for more of these drives in the future. Oh, and the new drive runs fine - no problems at all.

Great way to bring life back to an old slow computer. No complaints at all.

This was a very easy install, and i was able to use the samsung software to make this my primary drive on my pc.

This made my PS4 pro into a beast. Recommended for all PS4 pro users. You will not regret. Takes 5min to install.

I purchased the Samsung 1TB 870 EVO SSD. The good news is that it installed fine on my Linux system. The bad news is that a few months later I started experiencing data loss due to random bad sectors (which should never happen on a SSD) on data stored but never modified on this drive. Before I noticed this happening, I recommended the SSD to a friend who experienced the exact same issue. While researching the problem, I noticed others who had the exact same problem. For those with a technical background, the SMART data logged on the drive confirmed that this was happening.

This SSD breathed new life into my ten-year-old Toshiba laptop. The old 160 Gb hard drive just wasnt getting the job done. This drive increased the speed of the machine exponentially! Love it.
