> 3 dayI own two different models a 500GB and a 1TB and they have been running strong even after a few years of use. I am glad that the reliability of these have improved significantly. I recall seeing these dying left, right, and center on social media when they (Samsung SSDs generally speaking) first came out. Thankfully, that is something that you do not need to worry about anymore.

> 3 dayIve been using my Dell laptop for business for about 4 years. In the last 6 to 8 months Ive noticed that it really was getting slow to boot and load files. I figured that I needed a new computer but my son suggested that I replace my hard drive with a Samsung solid state drive. Voila! Born again! The computer is operating better than when it was brand new. Im no techie but I was able to transfer files and install the drive myself. This was a great purchase!

> 3 dayWorked perfectly on my iMac. I don’t recommend trying to open up your iMac and do it yourself. That’s a job for someone with experience (and a lot of it) but I took my iMac and this SSD to an Apple authorized service center and they did the job for me. The service center charged me $135 to install this Samsung SSD and then it was the cost of the SSD from Amazon I bought here which I paid $99 for the one terabyte. So basically it cost me $235 to take the old spinning hard drive out of my iMac and replace it with this SSD. To me it is well worth it. This thing is blazing fast my iMac was already pretty fast but wow huge difference. Just starting up my iMac takes 12 seconds now and everything is just so much more responsive. So I recommend this SSD. At least if you are an apple user I recommend it I don’t know about the PC people. I could give a crap about PCs. I am a Apple fan boy Mac users since 1988 and proud of it.
