> 3 dayShipped fast and packaged well but it didnt need it, these things are indestructible. Made of polished chrome they fit on your keychain and are rugged enough to ride around in your pocket all day, every day. I have two, a 32 Mb and 64 Mb. They claim to be water proof, shock proof, crush proof and whatever else proof and I believe it. Ive been carrying the first one I bought for months and never a problem. Well done Samsung.

> 3 dayI use my USB keys primarily for coping large files, so what matters to me is the actual verified Single thread performance such as if you are coping a very large .ISO or .MP4 file over. I use the H2testw utility as that writes & verifies a single thread as fast as it can go and doesnt allow for compression or other cheating. I did the full 32GB Capacity of the key This is very important as many reviewers only do benchmarks for a fraction of that and speeds vary (usually downwards) on a short burst at the beginning compared to sustained file copy. This one came in at 24.2 MBytes / Second write speed and 184 MBytes / Second Read speed.

Greater than one weekSo Ive had a metal kingston 16gb for a while. It was 2.0 and I realized now that all my usb ports are 3.1 I should upgrade not only the size but speed. While I might not be achieving 200mb/sec like it claims, I did see about 170mb/sec which is screaming fast compared to what Im used to. I do like that the keyring area is a bit thicker and feels beefy.

> 3 dayIm using a MacBook Pro on OS 10.12 Got the drive for $9 on Amazon. Write speeds when copying large (1GB+) files over is averaging right around 24 MB/s Read Speeds are about 175MB to 180MB/sec Didnt test with small files, but typically those speeds are worse. Given that its only 9 bucks, pretty good performance. Not thrilled with the slow write speeds, since that primary use case. (Store something quickly and go. )

> 3 dayI had no idea USBs had speeds associated with them and Im not a 100% sure what that still means but this USB flash drive is amazing! Its so compact, beautifully made, and at such an affordable price. I would highly recommend getting this. Only downside might be that it is really small so you might lose it, but put a keychain and youll be fine!

> 3 dayThe drive is not 32 GB. Even when removing the partition table, the physical drive will be 29.88 GB. The USB drive will come pre-formatted in a 32-bit file system for easy (quick) use out of the package, which is convenient. As expected with any storage drive, once formated, a small portion will be used for the file system table (14.97 MB, for example, for fat-32). That is perfectly normal and will vary depending on what partition format you use and how many partitions you create. What is not normal and should not be accepted is the fact that your physical drive is not as advertised. The raw layout of the drive should be 32 GB, and instead, it is 29.88, missing 2.12 GB

21-11-2024Ive been using this regularly and so far its proved reliable. Doesnt get hot. The lack of light indicating data writing throws me off, and I hope for the best each time I back-up, but so far no data loss.

> 3 dayThe flash drive is OK! Read rate about 300 MB/s as per the packaging ad, but write speed about 40 MB/s (in USB 3.1 Gen 2 port as well). I got both colorful options, black and this silver. The black one is good, but the silver one I believe has too thick layer of coating, so it fits into the USB port soooo tightly. I was afraid the port would break. Then I just used and OTG cable to insert it multiple times. Got better, but I can see the thickness of the coating, it is really too much.
