> 3 dayThis is a slick (literally and figuratively) little USB stick, thats got some of the faster transfer speeds Ive experienced in a USB 3.0 device. Unfortunately, it loses several stars because its almost impossible to get it into a USB slot on my PC. Or a laptop that I tried. Or an adapter I have for my phone. The dimensions of the case are just a hairs width too big, so its very, very difficult to insert and remove. If I were going to use this daily, this would be cause for an immediate return; instead, I just moved it to backup duty for OS recovery, so hopefully Ill never actually need to use it again. Update: I wound up buying a second one of these in the dark gray color and it does not have the fit issue like the silver one that I originally reviewed.

> 3 dayIm using a MacBook Pro on OS 10.12 Got the drive for $9 on Amazon. Write speeds when copying large (1GB+) files over is averaging right around 24 MB/s Read Speeds are about 175MB to 180MB/sec Didnt test with small files, but typically those speeds are worse. Given that its only 9 bucks, pretty good performance. Not thrilled with the slow write speeds, since that primary use case. (Store something quickly and go. )

> 3 dayIm getting the advertised transfer speeds, and I actually really like that the form is made of metal because it works as a built in heat sink. Feels very smooth and has nice weight to it, my coworkers are jealous and keep referring to it as My Precious. Great drive.

> 3 dayThe drive seems to be well made. It is much faster than many I have tried, but does not approach the Rated Speeds. Still, all in all a good product.

> 3 dayMy Samsung BAR Plus 32GB USB 3.1 flash drive provides a Read Speed of up to 200MB/second, and a Write Speed of up to 34MB/second, as many USB 3.1 flash drive manufacturers promise these days. But most USB flash drives fail miserably when one installs, say, a Linux Lite operating system, plugs it into a computer, and tries to run Linux on it. Most USB flash drives, even the USB 3.1 flash drives, and especially the compact ones, overheat, which slows those promised ultra-high read/write speeds to a crawl.. except for the Samsung BAR Plus 32GB USB 3.1 flash drive! The reason why the Samsung BAR Plus 32GB USB 3.1 flash drive runs cooler and faster is that the 1.53 (40mm) long metal case also functions as an efficient heatsink, that becomes warm to the touch when the Linux operating system is busy with videos, games, and such. And theres simply no way around that simple law of physics. I tried a few other brands of smaller, more compact USB 3.1 drives, that I could conveniently and permanently leave in my laptop USB port, but none of them could effectively run Linux. I highly recommend the Samsung BAR Plus USB 3.1 flash drive.

Greater than one weekLet me say that this has an amazing design. it is not clunky and gives a nice feel. this was pretty cheap (32g) and let myself transfer over 1k photos to the device. Sadly it dropped heavily and inconsistent for the next half of the transfer time . If you want top speed, look somewhere else. If you want a device that looks/feels great with mediocre speeds , go for this.
