> 3 dayI love this style. I had to purchase this one because the former was run over by my pickup. They are sturdy but not that rugged.

> 3 dayWith all the fake thumb drives out there, this is a high quality drive. I ran the test software and it agrees with the stated capacity of 32Gig.

Greater than one weekI wish someone had told me to buy this style of USB stick a long time ago. Everything about it is great, but my favorite thing is not worrying about anything breaking it. Watching someone step on an average plastic encased stick, leaving behind tears of data security dreams, I realized how silly. Military grade encryption software and 64 character password don’t protect against a shoe with 240 pounds of human on top of it. But these keychain style ones will survive way more freak accidents than any other stick in the same price range.

> 3 dayI backup often and this is probably twice as fast as my older flash drives. Instead of deleting the data I want to overwrite, I format the flash drive each time, then copy, this method is much better than deleing whats on the drive than copying the data.

> 3 dayI bought one 64GB and two 32GB Samsung BAR Plus USB drives. The 64GB stick came pre-formatted with exFat. The 32GB sticks came pre-formatted with Fat32. So they are ready to use immediately. Im pretty sure that if you wanted a different format (like NTSF) you could re-format them with whatever format you want (with your computer) although I havent done that. I do think they fit awfully tight into any USB 3 port I have used them in. Snug is good but I think this is overkill and it might even damage something in some cases. Thats the only complaint I have about them. On the Easy to use rating I only gave 3 stars because of this. Otherwise they seem really good. I like them overall.

22-11-2024I bought this usb drive (32 gb version) because I need one on my keyring in case if I dont have my external hard drive or laptop with me. And probably its a best flash drive for this purpose. It looks durable - just one solid piece of metal. Water, shock, magnet, temperature and x-ray proof with 5 years of warranty. I dont have usb 3.1 yet - but I tested it with 2.0 and 3.0 - see attached pictures. Im sure writing speed with 3.1 will be much faster.

> 3 dayIn typical USB fashion, this drive easily hits 200MB/s, but only in its read speed. Which is to be expected, manufacturers have done this for years. What I didnt enjoy was the fact that the random write appears to be so abysmal, averaging about 20MB/s. If you can manage to write sequentially to the drive youll get better performance but chances are youre using File Explorer in Windows or Finder in Mac, both of which typically dont ever write sequentially. Still, its a fairly priced drive and I cant be upset at that, the $8 I paid is right in line with the speeds I would receive.

> 3 dayWorks great. Only Complaint is it’s hard to get a key ring on it and without one you’re sure to loose it because it’s so small. Otherwise, fabulous. Even though it takes some time to get the key ring on it, I would certainly buy it again.
