Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

Put this in a 2014 HP Pavillion along with 16gb or Ram. Runs like a new computer now. Alot cheaper than buying a new laptop. Samsung data migration software worked great to copy everything over including the OS.

Ive had this for a few months now and the performance is top notch. I put this in my Mac Mini and it performs very well. I have not had any issues with this so far.

i started out using ssd drives from other makers a decade back but after my first Samsung drive i have stuck with them since. i keep two spare drives on hand and clone the drive in my pc every week or at most two weeks. that way when there is a problem i have a recent copy i can just slap in the pc and be good. for me the result has been no data losses and a lot of peace of mind.

Dont fill it over 70% or it slows down.

Upgraded my mid 2010 Macbook and the difference in term of speed was huge! Along with a couple of rams of course!

This drive made my four year old laptop perform like never before. Boot time went from almost two minutes to less than 20 seconds!! Only downside is the software and cable needed to image the old drive to the new drive. Do your research.

I bought 2 of these supporting an SSD cache configured in a RAID 0 (1 Gig). It works as intended for my application. I dont have much experience with longevity but Samsung has a good reputation with some exceptions.
