17-11-2024I used it as my only hard drive and it is fast , booting takes 5 seconds after enabling fast boot from the bios which makes it 12 seconds from pressing the on button till the desktop screen shows up, also great loading time in games.

> 3 dayI have an early 2011 13 Macbook Pro and it had a 500GB HDD which was on its last breath. I was contemplating buying a new Macbook Pro (>$1500) but I stumbled upon some Youtube videos of people just removing that HDD and installing an SSD. After researching, I saw alot of people trusted the Samsung EVO series (most people had the 850) so I went with this option (at $74 for 500GB, you cant beat that).

I bought this computer about 18 months ago and have lived with its unbelievably slow response because I had installed software before realizing it was a total dog. Recently decided to buy a replacement because I couldnt put up with it anymore. The ACER had been touted as a good, inexpensive unit but with only Microsoft Office added it was sooooo slow. > 3 dayEasy to install. Very fast. light weight. Have on in an all-in-one desktop, one in a laptop and one in a tower desktop. All are fast, heavily used and dependable. Will be buying more of these for any future computers. Great buy.

> 3 dayI really love this ssd. It was easy to use and migrate my operating system and my files. You must go to the Samsung site to download the Migration file. Downloads are super fast. Scanning is fast, less than one hour. Scanning used to take 1 1/5 to just over 2 hours. Booting up takes 30 seconds, and shutting down takes 20 seconds.

> 3 dayI bought this as a primary gaming storage device and I am definitely impressed. I can boot into games extremely fast and load times have been reduced greatly. I also have 2 NVME SSDs in my system and their load times maybe only a second or two faster than this SSD.
