> 3 dayWipe twice, mirror once! Take your time reformatting and enjoy the freshly stacked time available while not waiting for things to load. A for Value, and A+ for minimal effort.

> 3 dayWonderful drive for installing an operating system on. Turns boot time into almost nothing and comes with a 5 year warranty. Also improves load times on games by some margin. Great product!

> 3 dayMy computer had slowed down to the point of getting me really frustrated. I replaced the C drive with this drive, and it feels like I have a brand new system. Key programs include Photoshop and Premier Pro CS6, which is why it is still a Win7 system. Swapping out the default drives was easier than I expected, an I think Ill easily get another 2 years out of this system.

> 3 dayI have purchased three of these 500GB Samsung 860 EVO drives to give an upgrade boost to three older Lenovo Thinkpads: a T420 (Windows 10 OS), a W540 (Win10), and an X220 (Win7). So far, all are working very well. The W540 was not included in the list of known laptops the drive would work with, but for me it does indeed work. I used Macrium Reflect to clone the original drives over, and then used Windows Disk Management to expand the space out to the full 500GB, as each of these older machines had smaller original hdds. (On the W540, because of the way the original was partitioned, I could only add a new partition to use the extra space.) For me, then, not only do I benefit from the far faster boot times, but normal read/write processes are faster and now I have more space to store stuff. Its a win-win-win. All in all I am very pleased with these drives, and would happily purchase another if I had the need, and will if the need arises.

> 3 dayReplaced the 500 GB Hitachi TravelStar with the same size 860 EVO. The downloadable data migration software worked perfectly (it would be faster with a system that has a USB 3.0 port), and the Samsung Magician software installed without a problems.

> 3 dayThis is the second SSD I purchased of the same model and make. Earlier I replaced HDD of a 10 year old Sony Vaio which was sitting untouched for the past 4 years for slow performance. Once I replaced the HDD the booting time improved remarkably from 2 and half minutes to just 8 seconds. Now I am using the laptop every day. Coming to the second purchase, last year I purchased a HP laptop with 1-TB HDD in thanks giving sale for my wife. Bought it even after knowing the disadvantage of HDD apparently fooled by the sale price. Same old story repeated, my wife was constantly complaining the slowness of the computer and the complaints reached peak level I wanted to adventure the SDD upgrade as the HP laptop hardware configuration was bit complicated. Luckily with some youtube videos I was able to replace the HDD with this and boom. Guys if you have any laptop with HDD it is not because you dont have the i7 it is purely the hard drive that is killing the performance. Just upgrade it with SDD and you will see the magic. I did lot of research of different makes while deciding the SDD and majority were recommending Samsung EVO. I tried and it did not disappoint me.
