Authentic Samsung drive that works just as expected...FAST. I installed Samsung Magician, and updated the firmware.

Why didnt I do this sooner! Put this in my aging Dell XPS 8300. I was actually considering buying another PC but not anymore! Once installed with samsung data migration software it runs perfect and loads apps and programs super fast. I do have 16 gb of ram and an Nvidia Geforce1050 6gb video card and play all the latest games with no problem on high resolution. If you dont have a solid state hard drive what are you waiting for?? The samsung Evo rocks!!!

Just installed this and run for two weeks, till now everything work well and fast as expected. Will check more in the future, though I was a little bit afraid that the speed might decrease in certain conditions, but didnt experience till now.

This is my 6th or 7th Samsung EVO. I use them primarily to upgrade older PCs, transferring the image from spinning disk to SSD and installing the SSD in the PC. The performance boost over spinning HDDs is tremendous and they extend the life of older PCs indefinitely. Ive revived desktops as old as 12 years old to be perfectly useful due to the performance improvement gained by replacing the spinning HDD. They are low cost enough now to be practical as external backup drives too, making the backup process much, much faster. Fully recommend.

These 1TB SSDs are extremely fast even compared to my old WD Velociraptor HDD that was about the fastest HDD around when released. I bought a double SSD mount to install both of the 860 SSDs I purchased, and set up a Raid 1. I said goodbye to the HDD noise and now enjoy total silence with the SSDs. My computer boots up in less than a minute when it would take about 5 minutes. The only thing I am not happy about is the fact that Amazon shipped the SSDs in a shipping bag and one of the SSD boxes got chrushed. Fortunately the SSD was undamaged.

used it for three years as an Ursa mini memory, no problem. Easy to install.

After several years of a traditional hard drive in my laptop I upgrade to a 500GB solid state and Ill never look back. Everything is faster, not to mention boot time. I highly recommend this drive.

Great drives and warranty. Nice data transfer tool available and they just work. Easy way to eliminate the spinning rust and significantly speed up your PC.

I paid 5x the price long ago for my 128GB Pro. Price was right for this one and cloned the old one for both me and my mothers computer. Awesome price and speed. Samsung Magician works great too.
