Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

I purchased this for my new pc build. I have Windows 10 and a few games installed on it at this point. Installation is very simple and the speeds are great so far. Wasn’t sure if I should’ve spent the extra $ on NVME but having used this I don’t regret the decision at all. It boots incredibly quickly and installation speeds are lightning fast.

I used it to improve my MacBook Pro 2010, which was getting too slow. It was extremely easy to change and all the process with files transfer was a single step (2-3 hours for my Mac). Great product and investment

After installing this ssd into my computer I noticed a significant boost on responsiveness of the machine. 500gb is the sweet spot Im my opinion for storage and price, as long as you also have a decent capacity hard disk drive as well for larger files and games that you access less often its amazing! Installing and cloning was easy enough as well.

Not a good sign when Samsungs own software (Samsung Magician) does not recognize the drive. :-[ Fortunately I found some online help from others that experienced the same. Once I got this installed, I noticed a significant performance improvement over my previous HD (non SSD).

I already had the BENFEI USB 3.0 to SATA Adapter, USB to SSD Adapter w/UASP Compatible for 2.5 inch HDD and SSD and I did a Backup using Acronis the night before the Samsung SSD 1Tb arrived. Attached the cable to the USB port and the other end to the SSD. Went to Disk Management, did a format on the SSD drive. Then Powered off the Laptop and installed the SSD in the Laptop. Ran the Acronis Recovery. Once done the Laptop came right up on the SSD. The Laptop is now faster on boot up and running most everything else.

Theres no longer any reason to buy a hard drive! With prices being what they are, the performance you get with a solid state drive is easily worth dropping a few extra bucks. I really like these Samsung SSDs because theyre fast and reliable.

I purchased 2 of these. One for my laptop and one for my desktop. The speed improvemnent on both of my machines is incredible. Boot times and load times for applications has increased so significantly I am so much more productive. And the ease of intalling them made it a breeze to upgrade my computers. I will definitly be getting more.

Bought it to replace the 2TB HDD on my PS4 Pro 500 Million since I plan on sticking with my Pro for the rest of my life.

I bought two of these. One for my father and one for myself. Easily the worth while purchases I have made!

Easy install into a ps4 pro after original HD malfuntioned. Has worked flawlessly since install and even if its a second or two of improved loading times, I can definitely notice a difference.
