> 3 dayPros: Speakers Ports on back of monitor (especially the headphone port) 75hz refresh rate 5ms response time Beautiful picture Sturdy feel Wall mountable Cons: Height is not adjustable I sometimes wish the screen could be tilted down just a tad further (I like to lay in bed and watch movies) Ive had this monitor for 2 weeks now and I am seriously loving it. I honestly dont think you could find a monitor with as many features as this one for the same price. I built myself a PC about 3 weeks ago, and I thought I would not need a monitor as I had both an old TV and an old monitor laying around the house. Unfortunately, after hooking everything up I hated them both! They really looked quite awful. So I went ahead and looked for a monitor. I really didnt want to have to buy speakers (because who wants ANOTHER added expense?) and I hate wearing headphones because they usually feel uncomfortable after about an hour (Ive tried loads of designs... I guess I just have sensitive ears). So, this monitor was the perfect solution. For just under 100$ (I believe I paid $88), you get a full HD monitor equipped with built-in speakers, 2 HDMI ports, a VGA port, an audio in port, an audio out port (so yes, you can plug headphones directly into the monitor if you like! A great feature considering most headphone cords arent long enough to reach the port on the actual PC tower), and of course, the DC-in port for the power. I actually bought this monitor FOR the speakers, something that many reviewers advised against. However, I am quite pleased. If youre an audiophile or you plan to listen to a lot of music, then perhaps you wont be happy with the speakers. However, I enjoy them for a myriad of activities. I do use them to listen to music, but also a lot for watching YouTube/Facebook videos and streaming TV shows and movies. I personally havent noticed any buzzing and the sound quality seems pretty good to me. Maybe Im not very picky, or maybe the other reviewers have been VERY picky, but the speakers are really nice to have in my opinion. This monitor is also capable of 75hz refresh rate rather than the basic 60 youll get on most budget monitors, so if you are a gamer, you can achieve a bit higher of fps than you would with other monitors of the same price. Ive not played games at more than like 30fps (until now), so I cant vouch for whether or not 75 noticeably better than 60 or not. Either way, the games I have played on this monitor so far (Tera and Revelation Online) have looked beautiful. The picture looks great and setup was incredibly easy. Just plug it in and thats pretty much it. The default settings looked good to me, so I just left it that way, but changes are made easily enough via the buttons on the back of the monitor. Some people were griping about this, especially the fact that the power button is on the back, but I dont really find this inconvenient. The power button actually feels different than all the others (it has a little bump) and it is furthest to the bottom, so its VERY easy to locate by touch. I would say this monitor is definitely worth the money!

> 3 dayI usually use a 15 inch 4k portable monitor as my second screen in my setup, but have always considered getting a slightly bigger screen. I prefer a smaller sized monitor because as my secondary monitor I only use it to play videos or movies in the background, or connect to my other consoles like a Switch or Playstation. For this reason, it was essential for my secondary monitor to have built in speakers. This 22 inch monitor is a great size for my setup. It is very lightweight and quite thin for the most part. Its thin bezels make it a great addition to have in portrait next to my main monitor. The 1080p is sufficient for most of my needs, but coming from a 4k all the colors looked washed out and pale without HDR. Unfortunately this is one of the main reasons for returning this monitor. Another unfortunate quality of this monitor is the built in speakers, which was my deciding factor for returning it. The speaker quality is very poor, practically unusable. I understand that youre not supposed to expect stellar quality for built in speakers, but the sound is very thin and distorted with very low volume level maxed out. My portable monitors speakers were more akin to a phones speaker so you can hear things clear enough and the frequencies are more balanced. I was very disappointed with the Sceptres speakers. Sadly for me, this monitor didnt meet my needs. But for what it is I think its a decent monitor. Its excellent for smaller spaces or as a portrait monitor. Pretend these dont have speakers at all. I did a quick monitor test for it and I didnt experience any horrible light bleeding and as a used - like new item, no dead pixels present. It feels like a decent monitor for the $80 I spent on it. Will be returning.

19-11-2024I have purchased 3 of these from Amazon in the past couple of years. When on sale the price dips below $90 which I think is a great value but I have only seen it happen twice in 2 years time. Its a good monitor with nice picture quality and good features. That beings said though be careful if ordering more than one for a matching setup because as you can see from my pictures out of the 3 I have purchased one of them is smaller in size, shape, and has a slightly thinner frame around it than the other two even though I purchased all 3 from Amazon themselves and from the same listing that I have had saved in my shopping list for past couple of years. The have the exact same model number except the slightly smaller one has a 1 at the end of the model number. I dont know if this is normal or a mistake but either way they all work great they just look different which is why I had to buy 3 total in order to get two that matched perfectly side by side for my dual monitor setup. I gave the 3rd odd ball one to my son because he needed an upgrade as well so it at all worked out in the end. Weirdly enough though the 3rd one I ordered matched the original one I ordered 2 years ago instead of the 2nd one that I had purchased a week ago so that means Amazon must of a mixture of both in their current inventory.
