The monitor came with missing pieces and it was an essential piece that would allow me to angle the monitor (on the left) and it sucks. The quality is not for gaming but its fine for a beginner. I suggest getting something a couple of bucks more expensive for better quality.

I dont understand how this monitor has so many positive reviews. From the moment I hooked it up, the picture has been incredibly faded, and there seems to be no setting I can change to fix this issue. I desperately needed it at the time and didnt return, but I wish I had.

I needed a cheap and simple HD screen for a WFH situation, and this screen has been perfect. I just needed something simple and functional, nothing fancy, nothing great, just functional. And at this price, the mere presence of basic HD functionality is an absolute bargain. Sure, this screen has pretty bad glare, pretty bad built in audio, isnt that big, but who cares. It gets the job done and still manages to slap on multiple HDMI ports and audio out. While it would make a pretty bad primary display for gaming and Blu-Ray movies...lets be real here. Thats not why this screen exists. I dont need to spend hundreds just to look at my Email, chat with coworkers, type documents, organize spreadsheets, or organize office activities. I just need...you know, A SCREEN. Any screen. And this has not only exceeded my bare minimal expectations of being screen that shows pixels, but has done so at a staggeringly low price. Im absolutely astounded at the number of people who seem to be getting this as a primary display and expecting cinema fidelity image output or robust build quality. That is clearly not what this screen attempts to achieve, and all the people complaining otherwise need to do their research to figure out that this literally cheap as cheap gets screen very obviously isnt for them.

I bought this during prime days so got it for under $100. It is a great little monitor. The color is fine, the picture sharp and putting it on the stand and connecting to the laptop was A PIECE OF CAKE!! Not like the Dell Monitor that I had to return due to connectivity issues. It is a nice looking monitor. The sound is another matter. I thought it was cool that it had built in speakers, but they are tinny and awful. I turned them off in favor of my laptop speakers. Maybe with headphones it might sound better. But if you just want a second monitor with good resolution and ease of use at a great price, I highly recommend Sceptre.

Nice monitor, good color. Box appeared unopened but it was missing the wall mount and rubber cover (not sure what that was for). It didnt matter as I wanted a desktop monitor anyway on a stand

This computer monitor is good for students and small home business owners because it is simple to use. It has speaker at the back which makes the sound project backwards and inaudible but still manageable. The best part is that the price is right for someone on a budget. I bought it when my 5 year old HP monitor suddenly died after a power outage and I desperately needed a monitor to complete important task. I ordered it from amazon and had it delivered the same day which was very helpful and commendable service. The same day delivery with amazon prime, such a good deal!

Ill try my best to update my review as I use the display, but I wanted to share my initial impressions. I was a little worried the item would arrive damaged. The box was kind of bouncing around within the shipping box, and when I received it it was very hot to the touch, it had been in a truck for hours it was obvious. My purpose seeking out an inexpensive display is to have an extra display for when I work from home, and to have another display I can have a friend use to dock a switch into while we have gaming parties. I was originally going to use my old Dell IPS display, but it didnt have HDMI and I was worried the 3rd party dock would not appreciate the loss of audio and the conversion from HDMI to DVI via a cable. The dock I got played nicely with the monitor and everything seems peachy. Pros: Easy to set up and VESA mount ready (though Im not using this) Thin, light, clean and sleek looking Built in speakers, and option to bypass them with audio out Cons: No remote means diving into units settings to change volume (at least for Nintendo switch, which relies on displays volume) Wasnt able to find the right settings to darken the screen enough. Blacks could be more black (contrast ratio not so great) Im sure I could get better display quality if I was using this primarily with a computer, but to be honest, for the price, so far, this is a good purchase.

On an M1 Mac, this product suffered repeated connectivity problems. The computer would fail to recognize the monitor, randomly. Also, the monitor would cause the sleep function to malfunction, causing uncommanded waking and power wastage. The monitor would have to be turned off to prevent this, and when re-powered would cause the computer to fail to recognize it. In this case, more trouble than it was worth.

Got 2 monitors for Christmas. Both worked great out of the box. Easy to set up. Looked good. Fast forward 3 weeks later and one of them has a pixel that intermittently changes to red for a while. The next week, the second monitor started having the same trouble. I’m too wary to swap them for the same thing. I don’t know if it’s a consistent issue or just a bad batch.

22 monitor. Laptop would recognize monitor and extend the desktop, and would turn on the backlight but would not show video or menu (though buttons would respond). After warming up and some wiggling, video would turn on. Tech support was quick to respond over email and help me return for a fix. I received the monitor back quickly and its working just fine. At this affordable price, Im pleased they still took care of the issue quickly. My other curved screen Sceptre monitor has had no issues for 1 year now.

Whether you are a gamer or a movie buff, the Sceptre E225W-19203R monitor is the way to go. 1080P resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) delivers stunning color and picture detail on a 22 inch screen. A 3 millisecond response time displays action sequences with the highest Degree of clarity. Enjoy 2X HDMI, and VGA inputs to connect all video and gaming devices.
